PS5 can’t play PS3 discs. Therefore, Skate 3 discs can’t run on PS5. Also, the system architecture difference between proprietary PS3 and what Sony moved to for PS4 and PS5 isn’t compatible, so they’d need to come up with a solution to emulate it on virtual boxes running PS3 architecture to be converted to PS4/PS5 format to run on those systems. Outside of the titles they’ve included for the new PS Plus Premium, I don’t think it’s gonna happen. But that’s my 2 cents.

And the Full Circle team is steadfastly focused on the future of the franchise with the next skate. game.

For their new Premium PS Plus service, they do have some games from PS3 that are emulated (possibly running on virtual PS3 boxes and streamed to PS5 consoles), but the fact the end user’s system isn’t processing that emulation is quite limiting on the amount of titles that can be utilized in that new service. (Just my personal observation)

well i have seen a ps4 running linux and it’s real powerful so i think it will run and the emulator rpcs3 definatly can run skate 3 with no issues and at 4k and it’s open source sony isnt shy with emulation since if you remeber the ps1 classic mini console they used an open source emulator and on the ps4 they used a ps1/ps2 emulator for eg:gta sa,gta3

session is still early access. skater XL is an indie game. tony hawk 1/2 remake was made by the team who made skylanders games.
