So I got a friend that's 16 and just downloaded skate 3 with game pass and he's loving the game. We were in a session online last night and you should have heard how much fun he was having. He doesn't skate irl but he said the sounds in the game helped him feel chill and relaxed. Said he thinks it's the game he needs right now to help him destress and have fun.

All this to say, it made me really happy to see how a game that brought me that same feeling when it first came out is still reaching people today and giving them that same joy.

I broke my right knee skating down a volcano in the Caribbean when I was 18. 3 pins and a small plate. Didn’t skate again until I was 25, and stuck to Sector Nine longboards.

What sucked was my gf at the time (back in Austin) decided that my job in the Caribbean building houses was “too far” so she broke up with me… the day I called her from the hospital. hahahah.

Actually, I was at a pay phone outside of the hospital using calling cards that were $20 USD for 10 minutes whilst on crutches and covered in surgical bandages on my face, torso, and my hands were basically hamburger.

Fun times at 18. But we grow and move forward.

Xbox created backwards compatibility for their systems. Sony does not have backwards compatibility, but rather, emulates select older games from PS3 and before. (This is due to the CPU architecture for PS3 being completely different than later generations, making backwards compatibility for PS difficult, if not impossible, without relying solely on emulation.)

Weird thing is that the character you always play as NEVER TALKS same for ur team mates but if your playing free skate and spawn your team mates as AI Skaters they can talk

It's because I'm currently making a gameplay mod to make the game much more realistic but still fun to play.
And i'm wondering what you guys would like to see in that kind of mod.

PS : I CANNOT add new features to the game, just change already existing ones. The mod is about the core gameplay, not about activities or graphics.

Skate is a very different game than GTA. I don't think that that kind of hacking is something well have to worry about. It's not like cod with aimbots and wall hacks.
Also don't forget, IP addresses aren't static (set number) unless you make them to be specifically with your ISP provider. They change constantly because there isn't enough for everyone in the world to have one. In fact if you're having issues and need a new one for some reason, you can contact your ISP and ask them to do an IP release for you and you'll get a new one.

It backwards compatible now, so if you have a disc it can work, or try buying it on the 360 store then going to your games library on your xbox

I think the best thing you can do in that situation is behave in such a way that makes your parents see you are responsible and have safety in mind and aren't going to jump into skating recklessly. Their concerns are valid. Showing them you respect that and will take measures to mitigate those risks will help them see your side and be more willing to let you skate.
