Is there some type of special queue that’s going on for the beta? I’ve been signed up for the playtest since y’all started it up, around 2 years or so. I still haven’t been selected or notified at all, but about 3-5 days ago I got a platform confirmation task, I don’t know if that even means I’m any closer might also be cause console playtests have started. I grew up on this game, and have been at a loss recently trying to find new stuff to get down on. I would like to be able to playtest at some point. I’m just curious if it’s something that the average person can get into, or it’s just hvp like streamers, and game influencers ig

Hello everyone! I saw a message about broken boards. I think it would be a very bad idea, enabled/disabled... no. On the other hand, the board could possibly break only in certain cases: Forced landing / Jump from very high / Fall with the board, the board could break at certain times. But not often! It would be random. It would be nicer and not anticipated. (Your board if it is broken, press a key to be able to reset it with the character's hand).

Some games I have and their updates only take me a few minutes while others can take much longer. I remember Ark Survival in particular always being way slower than other games even with a smaller size to download. So your end could be just fine but the other side has slower traffic

they removed it cause they were wanting to focus on their own thing. To be honest I don't hate Session's controls at all, though there is some jank nonsense.

my issues with it are mostly with how some things just don't look good at all ever, how updates are few and very very minor, like, the last one was literally removing some decks due to licensing issues, i guess, and also how passionate members of the community frequently have their concerns ignored or outright removed.

Gotcha. People would use mods to make their skater have certain body parts longer than others (don't interpret that bad), plus other things like larger wheels, etc. For example with mods, you can make your eyebrows way longer than the game normally allows. So if you modify modded parts, it may crash your game

Btw did you all know that triggers can be used for pumping in the first skate? The game tells you to use the left stick to pump, but they switched to the triggers from skate 2, likely because it works faster than the left stick method. I never tried using the left stick pump on 2 or 3, the triggers were so much more optimal

No i distinctly remember in both skate 2 and 3 the tutorial tells you to pump with the triggers.. then again maybe they say you can use both? I am certain the tell you to use the triggers at least. In skate 1 there is no mention of using the triggers to pump, even though it still works

for thps5, they originally wanted it to be a budget title, an online create a park focused game in unreal 4, next gen exclusive called tony hawk world. then halfway through, with only ~6-8 months of development time, activision wanted them to make it a pro skater game on last gen+next gen, so they had to restart development completely, and move to their older, worse engine they used for tony hawk hd, and had to put out thps5 in 6 months.

not all was lost tho, the movement/physics/handling code they originally made for tony hawk world in unreal 4 made it into tony hawk 1+2 a few years later
