I got 7 implants in 2 weeks, yeah.
One, sadly, failed, so I have 6 healing now. I go back May 17 to get impressions to get my crowns/caps.
If all goes well, I should have my 6 crowns installed first week of June. (in about 3 months we'll try that failed one again.)

I was pretty upset about the failure of the implant, but the doc mentioned it's normal to have a 5-10% failure on one implant, but having 7 done in 2 weeks increases the likelihood.

playtesting isn't a free-for-all, either. for different tests, we're looking for different types of players.

If you were making an FPS title and needed feedback on melee weapon handling, it wouldn't really help if you invited nothing but folks who fly planes or drive tanks, right?

When I was working on NFS - it was for the Unbound launch.

I wasn't sure about the graphic elements, but y'know - I really dig it. The cartoon effects were pretty freakin' cool and added some punch.

My favorite NFS memory is booting up NFS MW2012 and hearing Muse playing - and then you go through that tunnel and the Frostbite lens flare blinds you as you go into a turn.

Well, that and playing Underground, Underground 2, and NFS World while managing the forums for NFS World.

Hey Smash - asking questions is fine.

Discussing details about the playtest (or confirming you're currently in a playtest, asking specific things that would indicate you are in a playtest)- not so much.
To clarify, anything regarding EA Playtesting - saying you've been accepted into a playtest, stating you're in a playtest, or discussing things that only a playtester would be aware of - aside from the "I signed up for EA Playtesting" would be a violation of the confidentiality agreement.

Now, as we've been doing playtests (almost 2 years this July), every time a playtest starts some folks pop into the Discord and forget all the confidentiality agreement stuff. Members of the community would rather remind the person who posts to "check your emails - all the info about the playtest that is relevant to you should be there if you're invited" rather than an infraction by the moderation team, a mute, timeout, or even server ban.

Legit, I don't want anyone to get an infraction. But, I would love it if folks would read the emails in full (I get a copy of the one sent to the team AND the one sent to community testers, so I know what is/isn't in the emails.) That's why I remind folks, read the emails. (It also says where you CAN share info, ask questions, report bugs, etc.)

I do agree, it would be cool to have a Discord channel/category/server for playtesting. At this stage of development and playtesting, we don't. (This type of feedback would be great on the Playtesting forums, which playtesters have access to.)

While the "overexuberance" of some of the community may have come off as a bit strong, please look beyond the delivery method and at the intent. It was to warn you before you do something that may impact your playtesting access or participation in the community.
