To work on Linux, you'd have to sideload Windows. The EA app is only available on Mac & PC (Windows) systems.
As far as releasing on Steam or other game delivery systems (like the Epic launcher, etc.), that remains to be seen. We'll have more info in the future.

If I play my PS4 for long periods then switch to the Xbox controller it feels huge. Switching from the Xbox controller after a long period of time to the PS4 controller, the PS4 controller feels awkward and bothers my thumb.
If I'm swapping here and there then I don't notice any issues really and adapt pretty fast.

Overall I prefer the Xbox controller though

I wish it was that easy. I've legit drawn on my hand and L and R for when I'm driving around with friends giving me directions.
I was ambidextrous as a kid, they made me pick a hand in kindergarten. I choose left. I was the only lefty and the teacher would default into directing right handers. So I think I missed a critical directional learning window.

Well, the game is old and unmaintained for many years now. I obviously don't have the data to show how many people actually use this feature, but I suppose it does save money with that feature down

That's if it was intentional anyway, but as I say it's not maintained, so things go down, and I doubt there would be any rush to bring it back up

Because it's the name of the game.

The first Skate (2007) game was retconned to Skate 1, then Skate 2, Skate It, then Skate 3.

It's not a big deal, honestly, but it's not correct. Anyone who gets actually pressed should touch some grass, drink some water, and have a better day. (on either side of the discussion)

As far as the reason it's not Skate 4, or Sk4te, or anything with the number 4 - it's simple. A number indicates sequential increase. This isn't a single (or multiple) steps up. It's the evolution (yeah, I use the phrase often) of the franchise. 1, 2, 3, It - they were the stepping stones to get us to the next game. (And amazing stepping stones they are.)

We're lucky we atleast had 1 game from VV, as they knew what they were doing with the TH fundamentals

i'd honestly put thps5 and thps1+2 in the same tier as each other, very hot take

they're both just meh in my opinion. the only thing 1+2 gets down for me is the control

i like the controls in 1+2 a lot

the game leaves a lot to be desired. it's basically the 4th release of the original 2 games, took me about an hour to 100% complete with one character when i first bought the game in 2020. the graphics arent amazing either. like they look good but not groundbreaking

there isnt a ton of content

plus the online is dead because activision has basically made it where you need to enable a certain setting on your router to be able to play online

Yeah, that's how it is on session. You can have the standard cycle, you can also select the time of day you want to start from. And you can even lock the time of day to a specific time
