When skate first came out I was blown away. Even playing it today while obviously it’s aged it’s still a beautiful game in comparison to most games that came out in 2010. Whether you think it looks ugly or not doesn’t really matter, that baby plays better than majority of games for todays standards

I'm sorry you feel that way. This is how game development works.
We're also not currently testing on console - but that's not a dig against console players, who make up the entire base of the community.
The thing is, we've stated it a lot, but the reality is we're in an early window of the development of the game. Generally, at this stage of development of other titles, playtesting is usually internal or very closed. I've been in the industry 12 years and worked on dozens of games. I've never seen us bring players in this early to test builds at home - usually it's what's called UXR (user experience research) sessions on site - meaning we bring a handful of folks to a testing site/studio for a day or two, have them play, then analyze the data, metrics, userflows, triage bugs etc.
By having external tests now (bringing in larger groups - and they will continue to get larger and larger), we're literally bring the community into the development of the game way early than normal - but that's part of why we're building the game this way. To ensure we build on the legacy of the game and create the future for the franchise. And to bring the community along with us.

i mean the only way they could make it fair is by inviting everyone that wants to play it if thats the way you look at it. i mean its a playtest, which like braddock said is usually extremely limited to a few people for less than a week. we're all super excited to play the game but most of us are going to have to wait until drop day which is perfectly fine for me as i'd like to experience the full and finished game that i know this community helped shape.

Yeah, it's much better. I had what was called a thunderclap headache (cool name but worst pain I've ever been in my life head wise) and I've been having some other potential nuro/nerve symptoms leading up to this the past few years that made it a little extra worrying. This is a headache that just happens out of no where, no warning, no build up just like a thunder strike goes boom out of nowhere.

Right as we walk through the sliding doors... I sneezed. Button came flying out into my hand.
So we immediately went back home and my grandpa lectured me the whole way back and then for about an hour after getting home. 😂

Well the thing is it only seems like it's when I'm trying to do a bunch of tricks in the absurdly small window you get in this challenge. I'll start my stick at the left, do the curve, flick it up right, and it's like "Ollie 180"
I've had 5 times in the past 3 days of me trying this challenge, where an ai skater will just come and hit me off the rail, as soon as I get 2000 points.
Oh my God finally. 4 days of torture. For 2500 boards.

i think this is an issue with how the gate and stick is smaller on the xbone controllers. ive noticed certain flicks dont work the same way between 360 and xbone/series x
im not sure if the "emulated" inputs are identical to the original inputs either. i think it all comes down to the shape and size of the stick

Just to clarify it’s not because “different language bad” it’s that’s what’s majority of the server is. I know a Streamer who lives in Spain, is Spanish, has a Spanish wife and because him and majority of his viewers speak English they say only English in chat because that’s how you keep majority connected.
