I just finished replaying the first skate. yesterday cause it’s free & backwards compatible on the xb1 rn, and lemme just say - the rob n big tre (360) flip front krook challenge is one of the absolute worst challenges in the entire franchise

It took me almost an hour, because it was impossible to land in the front krook from a tre while moving. I always landed nose grind, nose slide, front board, or for some reason salad, and moving to krook from a nose grind didn’t count. Had to do it stationary right next to the bench, which was still difficult cause it seemed like the height of my flips was pretty random. Didn’t matter how far down I got or how long I held it

it was pretty fun to me for the most part, just a couple annoying challenges like that one. I like the open world, the shops, good amount of the challenges are pretty fun without being too frustrating, but there is still some clunkiness to it since it is the first one
After only playing skate 3 the past 10 years it was pretty annoying to not be able to get off the board & walk, and not being able to do one foot tricks (except christ air & super dude) was odd. Just stuff you take for granted in the sequels

I think June 2012 to august 2022 is the biggest time gap in my achievements lol

Signing up as an insider puts you in the potential pool. Completing the survey helps your chances, but mainly when we’re looking for specific groups based on survey responses.
