Correct
Are there any benefits to claiming sILV over ILV ?
It’s unlocked and can be transferred/swapped immediately. No vesting period.
nice. thank you
Hey legends, Im sure this has been answered but how do I stake my link?
Hey. If you don't have substantial amount if link, I’d suggest you don't, cuz it won't be worth it. Stacking link is not far from its end. But in case you want, you can connect to ILV website, connect wallet and go to staking and click on Flash pools.
ahaha sorry was a dumb question, im already staked in the sushi pool, I was just wondering is metamask supported it and it does.
Yeah. MM is pretty much compatible with website.
so i have to buy one whole ILV to stake? and is it worth it? how much per quarter?
Random Question. By locking my tokens would i be immune to hackers breaching Sushiswap?
Hey. There is no minimum as long as it justifies gas. But personally I think anything under 3-4 ILV is not worth staking caz you end up paying gas a lot and rewards are small as well. But you have to DYOR and decide what's best for you.
I guess you can direct that Q to an IT or Blockchain Expert. Maybe a Carlos or Pedro can give you a better answer.
Does anyone know how revdis works when purchases are made in sILV? Do they change the sILV into ETH then purchase ILV off the market or is there another way?
the sILV is burned
Ahh okay
Hi guys, I've seen that some changes are coming to the staking method.
I did stake in SLP, do I need to take any action or it will be moved automatically?
Youll only take action after the lockout period ends. Right now there's no proposal yet on V2 so we need to wait and see if anything changes
Hey. No. The changes will apply to unlocked tokens only after its implementation.
Hey everybody, I just read above that some changes are going to happen to the stacking method. What does it imply exactly?
Cause I was planning to inject more ILV/ETH and I would like to know what to expect
Hey. You can read about V2 and changes it implies in pinned messages in #809220563397902346 but keep in mind lots of stuff might still change we're all waiting for the final draft and council’s approval.
just wondering if someone could help me here. My dashboard showing SLP, ILV staking, and my sILV + my rewards all loads fine. However my vesting wont load even after refreshing my browser. Does anyone else have the same issue?
fixed it
In the SLP staking:
Is it better to keep claiming rewards during the lock period or only when it is over?
Which way will bring better yield?
it's same i believe, they're automatically compounded
Guys, feel dumb but how do I remove LP? Not seeing an option to do this.
My lock period has ended btw
nvm got it
Is staking just for before the game launches or when the game launches ? basically is it too late to actually make a profit ?
In any form of staking, SLP or ILV, locked or unlocked, it's better to occasionally claim your rewards as they will compound and get licked got one year.
No they are not. They will compound AFTER the claim (getting locked for a year)
Check vesting section
You can always stake even after YF ends to get RevDis
Hi sorry doing some research about staking another question if Revenue Distribution is the idea that 100% of all revenue earned by the DAO will be distributed back to staked tokens. How is that profitable for the health of the parent company for long term growth / expansion and stability ?
20% or so is owned by the team so 20% of the revenue goes to them while 80% goes to everyone else staked. Also they mentioned that the capital they raised from investors will sustain them for years to come
Ty
The DAO can also vote to pay to 'hire' the team.
sorry can you please explain
If this was a centralized organization, they pay to employees to produce the game.
DAO can also hire employees in a sense.
There is still profit left over to the companies/DAOs.
ahh ok
Whats better to stake in right now? ILV or ILV/ETH?
Up to you and your knowledge/Comfort with IL
What exactly is the difference?
!lp make sure you read the following docs in details 👇
Providing liquidity for ILV is done via an ILV/ETH Pool on SushiSwap and requires a few different steps compared to staking only ILV. These steps are the following:
- You acquire a 50/50 ratio of both ILV and ETH (in $)
- You go to: https://app.sushi.com/add/ETH/0x767FE9EDC9E0dF98E07454847909b5E959D7ca0E
- After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it), you stake your 50/50 ratio of ETH and ILV in the pool
- You receive SLP tokens (To see them, add the SLP contract address to your wallet: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda)
- You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
- You can now stake your SLP Tokens in the Sushi LP pool just like ILV is staked in the ILV pool.
If you never provided LP before though, make sure to understand IL: https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained
!staking
When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:
- You acquire either some ILV or some Sushi LP tokens
- You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
- You enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired
- You decide whether to lock your deposit or not (if locked, you will receive more rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution, but you cannot withdraw your deposit until the chosen locking period is over)
- After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it) you confirm the staking of the desired tokens
You can find an in-depth video for staking here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6YugU4zZr4&t=1s

Hello guys! One question if anyone can help me. If I stake SLP locked for lets say 4 weeks at 214,02% APY, what happens when the 4 weeks pass? Automatically unlocks and turns to flexible at 198,17%, or it becomes unstaked?
it becomes "unlocked" but your weight still remains at that initial locked in amount
so you carry the % boost until you withdraw
so (lets forget the 3% reduction and apy variations), it will automatically get like flexible at 214,02%?
correct, but the APY isn't locked of course
If so, if I may need cash liquidity in 1 month, it is better to stake locked for 1 month and in case I dont need it, in a month from now it becomes a flexible with more APY than if I just stake it flexible now
if more people join the pool, it will decrease, if people leave, it'll increase - etc.
yes
yep, just using APY for the sake of understanding...weight is more factual indeed
mmmm thanks Jeff! Im tempted to go all in but a bit worried about end of year cash needs... 😛
This is just too good to pass and just having bitcoins (well...satoshis...) laying around...
whole lot better returns with ILV just stakin and forget that all the trading around in binance....
locking gives you that added bonus of "can't even paper hand if i wanted to"
Yes!!! lol....to keep me in check of trading nonsense lol
Hello! A noob staking question. Im stacking but gass has increased from 58 to 77 in a minute. Can I wait to the stacking to be completed a long period of time? If I switch of my computer, the stacking is canceled?
ethereum transactions can pend for quite a while. as long as the gas falls back to your 58 gwei, it will complete sometime in the future.
it is possible it gets dropped if gas never falls to 58 or below again for an extended time(many days) but you should be fine.
the transaction was already submitted so it does not matter if you turn off your computer
Keep in mind, that you can have only 1 pending transaction at at time. So try to wait out this one.
Thanks for your help, Its a relief for my mind and soul 🙂
In extreme cases, you can "override" that pending order toying around with settings and fiddling with nonce positions and zero value transfers, so it is never "lost" nor the acount gets blocked if it gets pending for hours or days
So...be cool with that. Before I knew that I though I blocked/freezed my eth wallets because of a pending transaction that I was too cheap to pay properly 😛
when is apy dropping again?
is anything being done for the people who have steaks during the incorrect APY? @mint cave
I suggest that you do. Providing incorrect information that affects people financially can lead to a major lawsuit. The game might not even see the light of day
as tony answered yesterday - the APY wasn't really wrong. it just displayed the APY on that exact block. now it shows a projection of the APY with the fortnightly 3% reductions.
i also encourage you to not FUD, as everyone here has done exhaustive calculations on the APY before the UI change.
It was displayed incorrectly on the core pool staking details for ILV correct ? @mint cave
see above
Hey so just caught this convo and was curious about this myself. So it's safe to either close the browser or turn off your computer, after you've submitted an Ether transaction? just confirming.
yes, and if I don't convince you...you can look up the transaction itself on etherscan and if it's pending you're good to go
yeah, I looked up a previous transaction on etherscan.. need to do that more often. thx.
np!
do you know the date when staking 2.0 is due to arrive?
not yet, proposal still needs to be submitted - but the team is already working on the contracts for it
I've already got ILV staking only, but was thinking of creating another pool of ILV/ETH with the higher apy... but I heard you'd have to stake minimum for 24 months on v.2.0.
it will then need to be audited, which will be the unknown time factor
it is very likely if not certain that the 24 month aspect will not make it into the final version
so if you had to guess, time frame wise, what would you say, perhaps 2 to 3 months?
hopefully before the new year, but the audit is going to be the wildcard for sure
nice. I mean, I probably would anyway, but 12 months at a time, I think is the range most are comfortable to stake.
agreed. no need to increase it for new stakes
so to clarify, if im staking using the sushi LP i can pull out ILV or sILV if i wanted? but if i do ILV pool i can only pull ILV?
no you can get silv from your ilv pool stake too
You can pull out sILV or ILV for both the sushi LP and the ILV pool 🙂
when you claim your staking rewards will this increase the amount of REV DIS you get since you would technically have more ILV tokens?
Yes. Unclaimed rewards will no receive rev dis. Once you claim them they will be a part of your staked ILV and will receive rev dis.
Is it still worth staking in the ilv eth sushi swap locking or do you think flexible?
So when will the rev dis start? It means to buy as much ilv as possible to take advantage of the Rev distribution,?
Both is "worth it". It comes down to your risk tolerance and how long you want to stay invested in the project. In summary, what are your financial goals and what is your financial plan.
52 week lock = Higher yield rewards and a x2 token weight for more revenue distributions. But it also comes with more potential risk as you cannot liquidate your assets if the market tanks. You also can't liquidate if you suddenly to convert to fiat. You also risk IL.
@copper dawn Thanks thats very cool. Especially since you can also cash out rev dis instantly
Revenue distributions will start with the first land sale and when the game launches (travel fees, shard curing, etc). It is worth noting the vault has already collected money to be given out as revenue distributions from a partnership but the team is waiting for v2 staking before doing so.
The more ILV you own and have staked, the greater percent of distributed amount from the vault you will receive. In addition, token weight will play a role. If you stake for 52 weeks your token weight will be x2, acting as if you had "double" the ILV staked and giving you a higher % of the rewards.
Correct! Revenue distribution rewards will not be locked.
@copper dawn 12 month lock seems like the play then wouldn't you agree
This has to be your decision. However, a lot of the people you find in the discord have selected to lock for 52 weeks because they believe the project will do well and are investing long term.
If you want to look at the data behind the staking pools you can see it here: https://dune.xyz/xastor/Illuvium-Dash
It breaks down how much is staked, what % of it is locked for how long, etc.
38.2% of the SLP core pool was locked for 52 weeks while only 20.5% of the ILV core pool was locked for 52 weeks.
just curious what are you staked at? xD
I'm staked in both pools at 52 weeks (x2 token weight).
alright thanks mate
Like there is another way. this is the only way 🙂
This is the way 😄
@paper parrot if it helps, I used Deraji's and Lelahel's calculator to help me make a decision. In addition, you should be aware that end of March 2022 many tokens from the pre-seed, seed, team, etc will begin to unlock. This will impact the token circulating supply and therefore the price. However, I strongly believe the revenue distributions will provide a strong upwards pressure on the price and help limit the number of tokens being unstaked and entering circulating supply.
In any case, it's realistic to assume at least a $1500/ILV when the game is realized (low estimate, but a safe estimate). If the vault collects 150M/mo and 7M tokens are staked you'll be looking at ~$21 ILV/mo. If you own around 100 ILV it'll offer $2100 USD / mo assuming stable price, excluding yield rewards.
This beats all dividend stocks in terms of total value invested.
That would be at 1x weight. 100 at 2X is 🚀
This prediction include x2 token weight, but final calculations will be normalized over the token weight of all staked tokens in the pool. Bottom line, it's still better than stocks and the project's tokenomics are better than the majority of other projects out there. We'll have to wait and see what happens when the time comes.
$21 per token X 100 tokens is $2100. That is 1X weight. With 2X weight you would need half the tokens to earn the same $2100. I'm not trying to be combative, I just want people to see the potential. All speculation at this point but it's very exciting. The pools and weight will differ a little.
I agree 100% much better than 99% of investments
Btw lets say i have 3 ilv tokens and i decide to split it 50/50 in the SLP pool. Does it count as 3 ILV being staked or does it count as half that
If you kept all three ILV and added the ETH separate then yes. If you sell 1.5 ILV then no. That pertains to Revdis. The APY is based off TVL
I understand the point you're highlighting regarding token weight. It's correct in general. The result will depend on all token weights in the pool.
If 100% of staked ILV had x2 weight then all tokens are treated equal and you would receive 1.0 * rewards.
In reality, we have a mixture of weights. A token weight of x2 will multiply your rewards by a value between 1 and 2 (so maybe 1.6 * rewards).
Very true. Thanks for highlighting that
i see @wind walrus
I added a small bit. Hope I didn't confuse you. Please ask more questions if you need to
thanks mate. Look like i'm gonna need to accumulate some more ILV before staking
More is always better unless it's taxes 😆
what amount of $ you guys think is more profitable to be claiming to make gas fees reasonable? I was thinking every 300$
I do claim when gas = 1% of my pending rewards. You can also use calculators in pinned messages to help you or you can claim when you feel comfortable
You are accounting for 2x gas fees which averages to ~$100 atm right? Which means about ~10k in rewards per claim
nope. I do whenever it get to my target, doesn't mean I'm claiming every day 🙂 def not now
Hey all, wanted to clarify something. I understand that claiming ILV from the SLP pool results in the ILV rewards being auto staked in the ILV pool with the same token weight as the SLP pool.
-
Does the newly claimed ILV rewards get locked up for the same number of weeks starting from the date of your first stake in the SLP pool? Or does it start anew?
-
If you increase your stake in the SLP pool, is the amount in the increased stake subjected to a new period of lockup? Or does it piggyback on the lockup period when you first stake in the SLP pool?
Hey. Not auto staked. It will get staked in the ILV pool AFTER you claim them. So it's manual.
-
If claimed in form of ILV, rewards will get locked for one year with a weight of 2X while compounding to your stake.
-
You can lock however long you want if you are adding a new batch to your stake. all will/can have different locking periods.
Hey, thanks for clarifying 🥰
-
Is the lockup period of 1 year the same for all rewards? What's the date it is referencing from?
-
Say I already have an existing stake locked up for 52 weeks starting on 1st Oct. If I increase my stake, can I make it such that my lockup period is still 52 weeks from 1st Oct?
No worries. 🙂
-
Yes, if you claim ILV as your rewards it will start its one-year vesting meaning it is untouchable for one year. Each time you claim I:V that claim will have a one-year vesting period while compounding to your stake and generate more rewards with a weight of 2X.
-
No. If you stake a new batch (for example today) and lock them for one year to have 2X weight, they will be unlocked exactly 52 weeks from now.
I see, that clarifies. Thanks @cunning perch !
Just curious, do all rewards give a weight of 2x regardless of your lockup period ? Or does the weight of the rewards depend on the token weight too?
No worries and yes. All rewards claimed in form of ILV will be locked for one year regardless of the pool you have staked in or its duration. 🙂
godamn that only counts if you are staking a high amount
well....for small stakers it def means a longer wait. otherwise gas will kill them. you need to make sure you are making profit and not loss. and I DO wait for that 1% for quite some time
When u say $2100 usd/month is this in the form of ilv tokens or fiat?
RevDis will be in form of ILV
As Arash said, rev dis rewards are given out as ILV. The "$2100 usd/mo" estimate was based on a $1500 USD per ILV price, along with all the other assumptions made.
Thx so confirm the rev dev ilv has NO lockup period and can be sold immediately. Also it is separate from the pool yield we are currently receiving. It's like a bonus distribution. Lastly does the ilv the one has in the sushi lp pool count as that which is used to calculate how much Rev distribution a person will receive?
I believe 1500 usd per ilv is very conservative given ilv has less than half the coin supply as btc and btc trades at 60k
Ilv should trade at 10k usd per ilv minimum to be fair
For now yes. It is unlocked (might change if the council decides based on future proposals). And yes. SLP also receives RevDis based on the amount of ILV there is inside the SLP and not the ETH.
How can you calculate how much ilv u have in the slp eth pool if you have invested more than once.
it should be 50/50, no?
bit irrelevant but it was satisfying being able to find my own address on there 👀
It looks as though the larger whales prefer single side staking
I believe that it's due to all the claimed ILV rewards going to the single pool
Na was making an observation on that dune analytics post, the single staker list doesn't look like it includes staking rewards
Ok so, I did try to use the spreadsheet but i'm not sure if I've got it right. Assuming an hypothetical scenario where I buy 10 ilv tokens, and decide to stake them on the place where I can take them out whenever, how much would they generate per day ? I'm getting ~15$ but that seems... Low-ish ? It rounds to about 70% yearly return and I've been seeing people talk about 300.
I'm trying to figure out if it's worth investing and staking until the land sale happens, then liquidating the funds to buy land, then if I have leftover, investing again and staking long term i suppose
At the current staking levels, flexible in the ILV pool is at 28% APR, but decreasing daily as rewards are claimed/more people stake. People talking 300%+ are staked with longer lock up periods in the SLP core pool. If staking short term, make sure your transaction fees are worth it. At 10 ILV staked flexible, it currently pays 0.0077 ILV per day.
i feel like gas fees would eat up alot out of ur staking rewards if you plan to take it all out in <2 months with that amount. just going based off a rough estimate tho
This is correct - in Xastor's Dune dashboard, the ILV pool doesn't count those only in the SLP who have claimed rewards.
How long has token weight been part of revdis? Since inception or is this V2?
Is there any possible way of selling locked ILV rewards? I’m actually not planning to, but just had a thought that it could create an interesting dynamic. Almost like futures contracts
i purchased ILV from binance. i want to stake it, but i am not sure wether i can send ILV to trezor and do it from there? i tried google, but not much info about this. can someone help me pleeeease
Yes you can send ILV to any ERC-20 address
thank you so much!
How can I find a link to the google spreadsheet showing when to claim rewards at a certain gas fee? I know it’s been shared a lot just can’t remember where to find it
I want to stake my rewards as ILV
Check the pinned messages
Thanks 🙏
Can I stake my claimed rewards in the SLP pool? Or is it automatically staked in ILV
Automatic into ILV pool. Alternatively, you could claim in sILV which is available immediately
Yeah has someone got a calculator for that? 😂 Take a loss on the SILV and make it up in rewards eventually
Well you won't get rewards on sILV. As far as a calculator, you can check pinned messages
I mean sell SILV on secondary marketplace then buy ILV and match with ETH
Ah gotcha. Yea you can definitely make back on rewards with the current APY. I am considering doing that with the leftover sILV I have after the land sale. Depends how much I have left since I want to buy some Illuvatars too as well as have in-game money to spend. Decisions Decisions
HI thinking of doing the 1 year lock but confused I understand you cant withdraw ilv for 1 year but is it the same for "rewards" or rev
ohh an not the sushi one the plain one
staking rewards will be locked for 365 days from when you hit the claim button, revenue distributions will be available instantly
is revdi paid in eth or ilv ?
yea paid in ILV
if its ilv can you compound and reinvest or does that start another 365
your original investment will stay on its 365 days timeline, the rewards will start a new 365 days countdown, its clearly visible on the staking page. But yea, claiming rewards will compound them
ty 🙂
What Kieran said holds no water. Nothing he said is set in stone. He states that he thinks he may increase the chances to revive an NFT for people who staked during the time. “misjudgment” or mismanaged. Whether it was done intentionally or not it does not matter. That would not hold up in court @mint cave @opal elm
context ? misjugement mismanaged?
Sorry @coral pike We we’re talking about what is being done for the people who staked during the incorrect
Apy^
umm for a new staker that comment is worrisome is there some information on this event ?
https://discordapp.com/channels/760344898200666112/768749374255398943/897606838013554708 Here is a link from admin explaining what happened. It was just a UI bug that has since been fixed. Everything displayed now is accurate
@autumn cloak right. It’s fixed now but it was not when I placed my money to be staked.
ty ill read that
Does anyone know Kieran Warwick’s email or maybe where to find it ?
so if if i read that it was jsut a viusal error not a opperational one ?
Yep. Everything behind the scenes with the contracts still paid out correctly, just the number on the staking website stopped calculating correctly for a few weeks
thanks you for the clarification
Thats why it’s such a major issue. People believed they were getting a better APY than they really were. Including me @autumn cloak @coral pike
Revdis is paid in ILV but cones unlocked. You will need to claim it but it's unlocked. You can then stake once you get enough
I AM gettin insane APY what you talkin about
Yep, I'll take 400% all day long
Hell yeah. Anything above 100 is still insane
r u in the core pool staked in ILV?
It’s still more than 70% so ima happy 😊
It will fluctuate with price
I’m ALL IN 100% SLP
yeah but when it was at $815 it was %396
Even 25-50% is better than 90% of investments
It also depends on ETH price I believe as well as the volume in the pool. But don't ask me to do any calculations with it. I don't know how lol
I’m locked for 52 on ILV @ 42%APY
For real. I feel like Illuvium has spoiled me for the rest of my investments. I look at my regular stocks and see only 10% growth in a year and am disappointed lol
Yes impermanent loss
Depends on TVL, token price and 3% Fortnite reduction
was that today? I thought it was progressive over the fortnite
All I read was TLV & Fortnite 🤣😂🤣
Did they ever mention what day the 3% happens on? I can't recall
Wait till RevDis starts. You will start thinking dividend stocks suck
Sorry, the moon does this to me 🤪
This is the way.
So true. My dividends will always have a place in my heart though. They funded my initial investment in ILV
Probably the easiest money you will ever make
We staked 2 more ILV today and took 2.4 ILV rewards instead of sILV first time, because we were like: WTF are we not taking ILV while it’s good APY?!!
Currently got 75k worth locked between both pools for another 11months. Hoping I'm GMI lol
Better to buy silv than claim
Flipping VeVe NFTs funded my Illuvium addiction 😉⭕️
Oh ur GMI, don't worry
Yep! Lesson learned after a dozen sILV 🤦🏼♀️
Land sale funds?
What’s GMI please?
Gonna make it
Gonna Make It
I have a few I'm holding
Yes. Could double it by land sale but after long thought and debates, realize ILV is and always will be king
Yep, I bought 10 silv at $230 for land sale but decided to invest in Star Atlas. Sold for $260. Kinda wish I didn't
Tbh almost ready to sell sILV and ape more into ILV, but I really love mini movie games and want to actually play. Just worried it be a clusterfuck auction like so many NFT whitelists and I’ll not get scan tier 1 and saved sILV for nothing
I’m definitely gettin POLIS but I feel no pressure to get other projects like I do ILLUVIUM which I feel is very time sensitive opportunity
Worst comes to worst you can always just save that sILV for launch and go ham the first few days and catch a ton of illuvials and sell them before others can get them.
The Dutch auction has ne worried a litte
Yeah this team is so amazing in the whole community but this is one thing that were a little bit too in the dark on, I would really like a little more information kind of soon.
Me too. I am terrified that I am going to wait too long. I am also terrified that I will go in too early and overpay.
Ditto, most my crypto funds are in Gala Games and Illuvium. Only put 4k into SA
Personally holding about 16 sILV. Looking to make a push at T3 or T2 land, if it doesn't look possible, gonna sell the sILV during the auction since it should hit 80%+ of ILVs value(LIterally free money to buy sILV with ETH, then buy land) and stake that in the LP
NFA >.>
Keep in mind it’s only first of four or so land drops. Tho I would like to be on the first
True, but I think this will be the cheapest. Also, it will have the least amount of people ever
Spider tanks is my jam for now
Awesome. I'm waiting for Mirandus
That’s such a genius idea!
I did buy a couple spiders, should have bought the Chicken
I bought a body and a weapon and that’s it. I literally put everything into Illuvium staking
Smart.
Yeah just something, But really need to get maybe one or two more because only the tanks are out now will be the ones that will ever be in the game and other people will be renting them from you
You're GMI
Yep, I wish I had funds to buy about 30 tanks so I could rent them.
We better get back on topic
Staking is amazing, and so are we. That's on topic, right?
could use an opinion since we have a lot of opinions here. got half of my eth tied up in a long waiting confirmation from another site. (fuck bovada) and other have in ETH on metamask. is it worth it to wait a few more days and get it all at once to save on gas or just get in the door and stake my first half now and then throw the rest in when it is available?
There's a mathmatical answer to the question, but would need to know how much you have VS how much you're waiting on
Depends on pool and TVL
If you are wanting to put it all in, I would wait until you have all of your funds so you can limit the amount of gas you pay. A few days won't put you that far behind. But like @glad musk said, It depends on how much you are staking, and where
If both halves are in the multiple Eth range, go ahead(Assuming you're staking LP)
roughly 2 IVL. im a small fish haha
Def wait then. The double gas fees are gonna be rough
Especially in LP because of the multiple transaction nature of it.
thanks team! any opinions on how much to hold long term vs shorter? want to make sure I got enough ETH and bonuses to drop some $$$ on trying to beat you bastards to some good catches haha
Small fish turn into big fish with ILV
Thats the plan baby! Gotta start somewhere 🙂
imo there is little benefit in the short term. I would do a year stake to get that 2x weight NFA
NFA?
quick question, I am looking to stake ILV but I have heard about V2. should I wait for that or stake now?

Im going to be real sad when the apy dips below 300%
TY amigo. Im learning all this BS but deep diving as much as possible and you all have been great. Thank you. Lots of awesome info from the community. Excited to be apart and hopefully make a killing!
SO there is no minimum to stake right? But from what I see... maybe small amounts are not worth? say: if I want to stake 100 USD on ILV
Of course! Don't be afraid to ask questions. I asked TONS when I first found this project lol
Correct no minimum. But, there is nasty gas fees you gotta pay in order to stake. So for staking only 100$ I would say it isn't worth it since probably 70% of your initial investment could be taken up by gas fees
do you happen to know the formula for how much sILV is earned between now and launch? Like I said, would prefer it not ALL tied up if Im gonna drop a bit of $$$ on buying gear/other necessary crap
would love to just use those bonuses instead of having to add more in the future or readjust things
What do you mean? Like how much you could earn between now and launch as rewards?
correct sir
I am not aware of a specific formula, but you can check out Lelahel's calculator spreadsheet in pinned and you may be able to squeeze an answer out of it. It also depends on which pool you stake in
can you link that? or direct me
https://discordapp.com/channels/760344898200666112/859866659011690537/900603332551385118 Right here. I hope you find it useful. it is a bit too complicated for me😅
ya i might be too stupid for that one too haha but im try to read. Numbers are normally my specialty though haha
@autumn cloak thanks for your help would 5ilv be a reasonable start ?
I think so. Just do your best to catch gas when it is low. Its actually pretty good rn
10x of that will look real nice 🙂
I don't want to do the sushi thing just he plain but notices some people saying you should get silv as reward instead of ilv ? or have i miss read somthing
So, people buying sILV are those that want to buy land. Currently you can buy sILV at around 50% of the price of ILV, which is a huge discount since in the sale sILV price will match ILV price.
Guys how to calculate how much reward i get daily , let say i stack 10 ILV with apy 50% ?
sILV price will match ILV price pelase clarify
So say sILV price on the market is 100$ (not accurate just for explanation's sake). Whenever it is spent in-game for things like travel and shards, or any official Illuvium sales (like the land sale) it is equal to the price of ILV. If ILV price is 200$, and you have 1 sILV to spend, you would have 200$ of spending power, even though you only paid 100$ for that sILV. Hopefully that makes sense. Feel free to ask me to clarify if you need me to
soo if i want anything in game something like land i have to buy silv wht does that have to do with the rewards from staking ? sorry as I said i saw asomthig that truing rewars into silv wasa good thing
but yes that seem like a really good deal buy spending $100 and reciving $200 in value is a no brainer
So when claiming staking rewards you have two options: 1. claim ILV which will go into a 12 month vesting period (basically another stake) or 2. claim sILV which will be available immediately to use. Personally, I don't recommend claiming in sILV. I do all of my claiming in ILV, but that is up to you
There is a chart that he posted. Couldn’t read it very well but that is the generic response so far.
ohh so you basically alway will have something locked for 12 months . when your original stake reaches 365 you can with draw it but have to wait another 365 for the "reward"
umm wait that seems wrong
Sorta. You wait the 365 from the day that you claim the reward. So if you claim 1 day after you start staking, you will have some rewards (albeit very small) ready to withdraw 1 day after your tokens unlock. But if you wait until the last day, then its going to be another year
so if you keep your original stake and wantto withdrawthe reward your first withdraw will be 2 years form your original state
-and this is differnt from revdis?
Any reason why? Would you recommend just using eth to pay for any in game purchases?
No. Once you decided to claim your rewards, they will be ready to withdraw in a year. As for revdis, it will be unlocked and available immediately
It is more just my preference. Right now it doesn't make sense since there is nothing to spend sILV on currently. Since APY is so high right now, it makes more sense for me to claim in ILV to generate more rewards. Once the game is released tho, I may decide to do a few claims in sILV to fund my gaming
Fresh. So it sounds like various rewards will be available to collect on throughout the year. Or is it one claim per x period? Don’t know if that has been stated yet
You can claim as often as your heart desires, but you do have to pay gas for each claim, so you have to find the right balance. I follow the "only claim once gas is less than 1% of what you are claiming" rule. But do whatever works for you
Ahhhhhhhhhh that’s the ticket!
Yep. If it weren't for gas I'd be claiming every second of every day to maximize those rewards. But alas, gas is an ass
Fuck gas fees haha
i hate the waiting delay between where I buy my eth and transferring it to meta mask -- i am always afraid its going to get lost along the way lol
the the amont make it slow to trasfer ?
Semi off topic question. Is there a site that I can go and Input my transaction Id to see how long until a transaction will take? And yes @coral pike
Well how long a txn takes all depends on the amount of gas you pay. That being said, once you submit a txn, you can paste the txn hash into etherscan and watch it progress
Yeah I don’t know how much bovada paid in gas when I withdrew the money
Possibly a stupid questions but I’m new to $ILV and staking, but do you have to pay gas fees twice? Once to swap ETH for $ILV and another time to actually stake it?
Yep. It is a bit of a pain
Thanks! I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth trying to stake if gas fees eat up the majority of my investment…
Yep. Gas is a pain
Question: if i stake for 1 year, am i still able to claim sILV anytime or are they both locked for 1 year?
You can claim your rewards as sILV anytime
after i recive my eth in meta mask the next step is to go to sushi and buy ilv rigght?
Will we need to pay gas every time we make a transaction in market? For example will we pay $50 for shards and crap and then $50-60 in fees?
So some good news there: NO. All in-game transactions will be on Immutable X Ethereum Layer 2 Network. So the only times you pay gas are putting funds into IMX and taking funds out. All transactions within are gas-free
Yep! Just make sure contract address is correct before the swap
Praise allah!
can you claim the sILV to immutable X, or must it be claimed by your metamask then to immutable X ?
I don't know how that works yet unfortunately. I am sure we will get more info when the time comes tho
i guess Im not smart enough...lol i have ilv and I want to stake it, but the balance doesnt show up on illuvium.io
What wallet you using to connect to illuvium.io?
MM
Hmm. And your wallet is connected? And on the eth mainnet?
yes to both
Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet?
illtry
Hey Guys good evening
nope, still not showing up. I just bought the ILV from sushiswap. its in my wallet under my balance. just doesnt show up on the website
I am new to this environment
yea it didnt get lost my eth arrived https://tenor.com/view/baby-yoda-baby-yoda-happy-laughing-smile-happy-gif-16061896
have you tried clearing your cache?
ill give it a try
Strange. And you are positive you bought authentic ILV from sushi? Just trying to go through everything at this point
ok now i have to figure out this next part
There are 2 different staking pools one is with ILV, 2nd is ILV/ETH, My questions is what are ILV/ETH giving as profit? in which crypto?
Both give out rewards in ILV or sILV
yes just verified it on etherscan
What is sILV?
@autumn cloak can you please see general for a question
Hi guys, for vesting, I got rewards. Do they compound automatically or do I need to claim and restake them?
Thank you
sILV is one of the currencies allowed in game
Thank you for clarification
One more Q when is official release of the game?
Full public release will be Q1 2022. Exact date not known yet
Thank you so much !!!!
ok, so i found out that my ILV does show up in the top core pool. what do I need to stake in the sushi pool?
So for the sushi pool, you need SLP token. It is made up of 50% ILV and 50% ETH
oh nevermind, i see it. thanks
If you stake in SLP pool do you gain yeld based on the total dollar value that you have in the pool. So if i have 1k so 500 + 500 then it counts as 1.2 ILV and you will get apy for that 1.2 ILV?
u need to claim (after claim, your reward will be locked/staked for another 1 year)
Cool thank you!
APY% times the (value in usd of the SLP)
for your case, is APY% x 1k usd , but u need to know APY% will keep reducing over time as more ppl staked
alternative in-game currency obtained as a yield reward for staking
Thank you got that
ok i am going to try to buy the tokens on sushi the gas says 64 in green do i need to changethe "slippage" on the other screen ?
normally i will just follow the default setting unless it told u to increase the slippage
ok hear it goes
Yay I( have 5 ILV in my wallet now
congratz welcome to the ILV CLUB 😄
TY now i just have to wait for my ledger nano s to arrive so I can stake them
Staking? So I’m buying ILV right
Yup. You can only stake either ILV or ILV/ETH (sushi LP)
https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained Great article explaining impermanent loss 🙂
I don’t see ilv on Binance.US so only sushi?
You can obtain ILV through SushiSwap. Make sure you understand what your purchasing the price is quite premium at this stage.
Alright I think I’m just going to stick to playing it😂
Either option is great . Do some more reading on the project whether you buy ILV or just play the game welcome to the family 🙂
Thanks. I was already going to play the game but I don’t have enough in my wallet to do both😂. Do we know how much playing will cost as least cheap playing?
Like basic stuff
In Illuvium there will be several options to P2E:
- sell captured Illuvials
- sell farmed materials
- sell crafted items
- play the marketplace (buy low, sell high)
- wager on battles in the Leviathan Arena
- earn some of the 1 Million ILV set aside for in-game rewards
- …
BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy, a bit of money needs to be invested. A full cycle of travelling, curing shards, etc. is currently estimated to be around $50 (this can still change).
This is what we currently understand.
So u sell illuvials u capture? I’m assuming that some are more rare than others?
Correct.
Interesting. Again, I’m guessing that we buy gear to catch and attract them ?
Yep head on over to #💬〕general lots of information about it.
Is there more basic info anywhere else? Like a guide?
@cunning perch should I stake now or wait for v2? What’s more advantageous?
If you can stake now, I suggest you do it when gas is cheap. In V2 if you want a 2X weight you are probably gonna have to lock for 2 years. Now, with V1 it's still one year. V2, however, will let you withdraw your unlocked rewards all together in one transaction. But how APY is still high and we don't have a date when V2 is coming out, so you might lose some rewards if you wait long. You gotta decide what works for you best
Thanks
agreed. now is best in most situations.
dude what is V2 @cunning perch
Staking Version 2. You can read about it in pinned messages in #809220563397902346 but there will be a revised proposal and thing will/mightvchsnge a bit, but all in all it should give you an overall view what it is.
I really hope something is done for the people who staked during the incorrect APY 😞
The APY was always correct. It was just stuck on the website. But applying it has never been with an error. No one has lost anything to be compensated for. I believe @mint cave has already explained that to you afair
I haven’t followed V2. Any (approximate) idea when will it come out?
No idea, but should be pretty soon cuz the RevDis generated by land would also be distributed through it. So maybe by land sale? Gotta have to wait and see 🙂
Ok. Thanks. I am planning to stake first week of November, I think (I hope) I still got time. 😁
Well November is right around the corner. A pre-congratz is in order. Welcome aboard bro/sis 😄
Haha 😆. Thanks. (It’s a bro 😎)
How do un UNSTAKE from Illuvium , I cant find where to do it for the life of me!!!
Did you lock in?
no
Check the Vesting tab.
Yup! They will remain vesting until they are finished, at which point you can unstake them as well.
perfect thanks for the help, much appreciated
Gas is kinda cheap guys. I just claimed and paid $30 (fast gas + raised limit). Just saying if you're planing on it. Though still keep an eye out for the gas @hot lynx
Hi all,
i have a simple question, when i am vesting my deposit in LP , do i need the fee in my wallet or it can take fee from my eth in slp ? Thanks
Hey bro. No you need ETH in your wallet. you always pay the fee from your wallet 🙂
okay thanks a lot, its possible under 50 box for vesting ? depend on gas i think ^^
You mean gas under $50? yeah. I literally just claimed and paid $30. You should just time it right
Thanks a lot bro 😄
@cunning perch Sorry i forgot to ask something else , do i need to claim my pending rewards from LP pool before Unstake ? Or it can stay in pending till i need it ?
New staking or withdrawal will automatically require you to claim your rewards. So, just click on withdraw/stake and you will pay the gas for claims too.
oki thanks dude 😄
What would be a favourable amount of ILV to claim for the gas cost to be worth it? I’ve got 2.6 ILV right now
Also another question, not too familiar with gas costs in these settings. Does the gas cost get higher depending on how big the amount I’m about to claim?
This can help you #🥩〕staking message
Im new to this just curious what staking is and what value comes out of it if persay i was to try it?
YOu can follow gas on the right here https://etherscan.io/gastracker and claiming/staking are complex contracts so might cost more
Hey. I suggest reading these docs and watching vids in pinned messages to have clear idea what it is and ask whatever questions you had and we'll help you 🙂
Some important sources of information that everyone interested in and/or new to Illuvium should take a careful look at are:

Okay thank you!
In staking v2, will I be able to withdraw multiple stakes all at once?
Yes in V2 unlocked stakes can be withdrawn all in one batch
Awesome! Thanks, Arash!
@steady trellis
Hey so your staking pin about your dashboard looks really intense. Lots of information, but quite little guidance in how to read it all. Could you give a lecture about it or something to help silly people like me understand?
I for example cant understand the table with "per 8 ILV per 10ILV per 12ILV"
Where the other values stay the same... wouldnt those go down? What about the expected APY that goes down so quickly that you have 40% in the SLP pool after only a year? XD just some things i couldnt understand or interpreted very incorrectly... Anyways i would love a quick guidance Video/text/voice chat lecture about it.
If you dont have the time then if Stormi or Vetemor or The Illuvial have time they could maybe make a video if you explained it to them? It would make it all a lot better useable :)
I staked my sushi lp tokens for a year but now I want to unstake, is it possible or I gotta wait for the whole year locked in
You would have to wait out the rest of the staking time if you did lock it for a year.
😞😂
hodl
Thank you
When you go to the staking tab and go to vesting while logged in you can see how many days are left before you can withdraw
I see it over 290 days
I’m over 250+ days too but think of it as a good thing. If I didn’t stake it I would’ve sold when it hit 500 and I’m still tempted to sell now at 800 but I can’t =]
Plus the rewards I enjoy it☺️, they always keep me up when I need the funds.... I hope they hit 10k before the staking days are over😂
Agreed! That’s why I’m so happy i locked. If you withdrew now and sold then ilv hits some crazy numbers later. It would be too much regret.
Right
We also haven’t gotten a taste of rev dis. 🤤
I'm convinced it should be up 2k before the staking days over.. it's really a good investment and I'm happy right now I locked in that 8k
Ohh right
I can do, or we can work so@etching with @ripe steppe about that, tagging him on this I think it can be useful for lot of people
I can make a video on how to use the calc, quick simple breakdown if u want @craggy field
I can prepare you explanations on calculations and all the things in the sheets if you want
awesome, that would be incredible!
If I have some SLP staked flexibly and some SLP locked, will I be able to claim the rewards from the flexible one before the other unlocks?
Claiming rewards should be done occasionally regardless of the stakes being locked/unlocked. If you claim ILV, they will be locked for one year and compound. So better to claim them when you have enough.
Oh so you can claim rewards on SLP thats been locked whenever you want?
You just won't have access to the SLP?
Wherever you lock in the website, you can see your rewards in the "pending rewards" section in Dashboard. you will have to claim them occasionally if you want them a year later and/or want them to compound and generate more rewards. But be advised that claiming SLP rewards will require two gas as it also claims your ILV pool rewards. So, best way to do it is when you have enough rewards that justify the gas (gas is good atm) just claim SLP rewards and you pay another gas for your ILV rewards as well
@cunning perch just wanted thanks you for helping yesterday .The community has been really great and made me feel comfortable about investing . I bought 5ilv yesterday do you feel that is a reasonable start ? I cant stake them yet because i also bought a ledger yesterday i was told to wait till i receive it and "move" the token to that because i cant " move" them once they are locked in
Hey 🙂 I am so happy you feel good being here. Continue asking whatever is on your mind and we'll help you. Yeah, if you are waiting for your Ledger, wait till you get everything done and installed and then stake cuz if you lock, no one can touch it 🙂
thanks do you feel 5 ilv will give me a resonable start ?
so people who are staked in v1 won't be able to use the features in v2 until their locking period is up? I thought we would be automatically migrated to v2 features.
sure. I would say 5 is good for ILV pool. 🙂 (I mean that's my opinion, but many might disagree and say put half/half in SLP) Make sure you time your claims and do when gas is reasonable
i looked into im not intrested in that other pool
Yes. As long as you are locked on V1, you are on V1, but claiming rewards should move them to V2. (waiting for the new proposal to provide concrete info). However, when your locks are done and tokens get unlocked, you will have to manually migrate them to V2.
No worries. As long as you are happy with your investment, then all is good 🙂
i havnt see anything about V2 can you explain or isthere somthing ican read ?
you can read the initial proposal in the pinned messages in #809220563397902346 but one thing is certain, that if you wait until V2 is implemented and then stake for 2X weight, you wll have to lock for 2 years. If you stake now (before V2) you can lock for one year and get 2X weight
ohh so i came at theright time then lol
yep. you are pretty much early 🙂
ty again for your time ill wait for my ledger and aand pop in if i have anymore questions
No worries. Let us know if you had any questions 🙂
I'm very happy also with the explanations provided by everyone here.
It helps a lot and provides us good feeling
It feels that slv should be at least 2k by next year as long as btc is up
@storm wolf so glad you are happy with the community 🙂 we're all on the same boat
Who goes to moon on a boat? 🤔
I have literally no idea how to answer that questions 😄
I have a problem
I am clicking on the stake button after conecting my wallet it ask me for permission for the gas ⛽️ and then O click yes and keeps on saying approving within the Illuvium page but never goes thru
Hey, maybe refreshing the page should work. Also, are you using a cold wallet like Ledge? If so, make sure you have updated it and the browser/app you are using
I seem to have lost 1.44 ILV. I staked it through the illuvium website staking. But it doesn't show up on my dashboard and is now gone from my wallet?
Did you lock here? https://staking.illuvium.io/
Yes. This was my second round of staking. I still have rewards vesting
So you staked it, the TX was successful, but you neither see it added to your ILV stake on Dash nor in your wallet?
Do you see the transactions in your wallet?
On phone or pc?
using MM with a cold wallet or just a bare MM?
i am using Metamask, the transaction says i sent it to myself. it seems rather odd
does anyone know a good alternative to gasnow? to track gas of eth? it seems cheap atm but im not sure
What is you latest transaction? What do you see in the Activity section on MM?
Not sure how accurate it is, haven't used it much myself, but I know of: https://ethgasstation.info/
https://etherscan.io/gastracker and https://txstreet.com/v/eth can help too
Ok , lets start over , let me send my ILV to my ledger then what?
when you send your ILV to your Ledger that is connected to MM both of which are fully updated, you just stake it normally in either SLP (follow the SLP staking section) or ILV pool (directly on the website)
That is the dicision you are gonna have to make for yourself 🙂 I your recommend watching the vids pinned here and the ones in #🎨〕community-content from @manic spindle and @ripe steppe and also @elder dawn and if you had any questions regarding them, don't hesitate to ask. Those Vids will 100% help you with your decisions.
Definetly not staking , I dont know why . I will be sharing pictures now.
I was hacked or something. All my ether and ilv have been taken and transferred out of my metamask account.
Ah. Sorry to hear that. That's one reason many use Cold Wallets cuz they can't (or not probable) be hacked online cuz they keep the seed offline
hmmmm...maybe disconnect and reconnect and also clear cache can help. (also make sure your browser/wallet is updated)
And if I hit the cancel
you can cancel and reconnect if that's an option
🤷🏻♂️
Just a shot in the Dark.... But have you tried to check Zapper to see if it still shows up there?
I have done reconect and same thing happens , within the ilv page says APROVE and the circle moves like loading and nothing else
who? CryptoTalks is having issue connecting wallet to ILV website 🙂
Have you checked the updates I told you about and cleared cache?
Sorry to in. I was following. I only meant sometimes I've double check my Zapper account and meta mask holdings still shows up there. this way i know it was something up with the meta mask.
Cached cleared , MM version : 1.2.2
interesting. @arctic smelt you can try what Brian is saying. Maybe you can find the issue. After clering Cache try again maybe it'll work
There should be an update issue here. It's not from the Website/Ledger/MM. Already used it today and everything works fine. Change the browser, maybe it helps
Hey,, C-Talks. ive had something like this happen in the past. and I had to restore wallet. it was scary as heck though. just a thought. If you go onto the Zapper website it should pull up an itemized list of your meta mask holdings and i know mine has this Yield pool in it. at least to get the piece of mind that its there. anyways, good luck and I hope its there.
Thanks
So I had rewards vesting before I was hacked. Now I do not. Is it possible for the hackers to redirect my vesting rewards? It seems to look like they did. If they could do this is it possible to stop it from happening? The rewards still had 350 plus days of vesting. I don't even care if I get the rewards. I just want to stop them from getting anymore lol
No. Rewards that are being vested are not free to be claimed. The first YF rewards entering the market (fully unlocked) will be in July 2022. So, even if you are hacked and everything is flushed, your rewards should still be in the vesting tab.
Hey guys, I’m trying to claim staking rewards from the slp pool, but the transactions aren’t completing anyone else have this issue? I make sure to have enough for transaction fees but it’s just not working for the last couple weeks
Probably tge gas you are using is not sufficient and might rise above what you have entered. You can always speed up. I just used in the morning and my TX went through in 10 secs.
@cunning perch thanks for the reply. I was using $150 for gas fees, that seems sufficient. Is there any other known issues, like pending transactions stuck or something?
No worries. There shouldn't really be an issue, but since your tx is pending now, it means there should be a gas issue with it. If you have the option you can speed it up, or cancel and try again. You might lose gas so be careful what you do. There shouldn't be a problem if you use Fast gas and (if necessary) raised limit for the gas.
@cunning perch ok, I’m trying now using fast gas. I highly doubt this is going to work.
Use high gas and add 50,000 to the limit (the default). (what I do, the latter is not necessary but I go with it to be sure) do it when gas is cheaper. It's so-so now
Further to @cunning perch's reply, if you locked the ILV for 12 months, then the ILV will no longer show up in your Metamask while it's staked/locked. Metamask will show an ILV balance of 0 but the tokens cannot be stolen while locked.
How come I can stake my ILV in the top pool, but when I try the sushi LP pool it shows I have a “zero” balance and I can’t stake?
For the SLP pool you need SLP token from sushi which is half ETH and half ILV
Well shit. I just waisted so much on gas trying to switch into that pool
What’s the purpose of SLP?
!lp 🙂
More risk for possibly more rewards 🙂
Hi all, has there been any discussion on when/how the revenue distributions will take place after that car skin sale? I understand it will be extremely small, but it seems like it’s important to get the mechanics of the distribution right
Supposed to happen with v2 staking due to contract updates. No final date on that yet as the v2 staking proposal still has to be submitted to the council 🙂
Thank you. So you stake 50/50, but all the rewards are ILV right? You don’t receive 50/50 ILV & ETH correct?
Yep
And then once you acquire SLP, can you sell it back for ETH and ILV?
Yea, back through sushi.
Got it. So much gas. Lol
Yea liquidity pools are pretty gas heavy unfortunately. But the rewards are great tho
Thanks for all your help. Really appreciate it @autumn cloak
What makes this pool riskier?
Google impermanent loss. That is what the risk is. I would explain it to you, but I'm not good at putting it in simple terms lol
Wow. APY dumping again?
Seriously? Whats it at o.o if i could i would check myself rn xD
I guess we are gaining traction with the upcoming trailer release and more stakers
46.25 & 383.55
Looks like it dropped 17% since yesterday?
Yeah indeed thats a lot!
I'm just in the core ILV pool and been squirreling some cash away to jump in SLP. Was hoping to get in before trailer but here we are.... hopefully it doesn't drop too much
Overtime the rewards distributed and APY goes down
by 3% every two weeks (fortnights)
I'm aware. But it's also exacerbated by more people joining the pool, correct?
Yes adding more TVL to that pool
I'm just hoping it doesn't get too diluted before EOY. I'm just being selfish lol
I'm still excited for the influx that will happen post trailer. And being able to show other people the trailer and how it's not just a "crypto game"
Where are we on that chart now?
Im trying to make claiming decisions based on it. I want more sILV for land but also don’t want to miss out on ILV
I've resigned to not having money for land lol. I just want to get into Sushi and stack as much ILV as I can for staking and rev dis and let it just build over time
If I'm not mistaken Staking started in June. So around 4 months into it. Between 16 and 20ish weeks. I don't know the exact date but I can look for it
I think it was August actually but I could be wrong. Just going from memory but think I recall reading that nevermind lol
june 30th was the first day of staking
I'll update it with where we are in a second
Very cool! I only missed by a month 🤦🏼♀️
steak
I started staking 5 days ago 😦
You’re ahead of millions of players
yea lets see how it goes. sadly the gas fees makes the plans a bit unfair to compound
Sundays are lowest
Its just about timing the claims. Both for gas and letting them build up to economical levels, And hopefully as we see some Eth 2.0 stuff roll out we will see lower fees. But gonna probably be 12 months before we see much changes I think
any rough idea how long for the 2.0?
Is this legit? You sure hun??
Yes it's been exactly 114 days since the beginning of the staking june 30th, which turns into 16.2 weeks and then you take that amount divided by two to get the correct amount of fortnights
So each peg represents how much time passed?
But you only marked 4 fortnights in, not 8
Disregard, thought each bar was one fortnight
Each bar is two fortnights
gotta take in consideration that APY is also lowered with higher amount of people joining the pool. like yesterday there was a drop of 17%
so 2,4,6,8 etc
So…a month
28 days 😦
see
So what we getting in rewards right now, will be half as many in Aug 2022? Just seeing if I understand, or if APY diminishes it even more
That graph isn't consistent.... There's 12 Bars leading up to the 20 marker. Then like 20 between that and the 40 marker lol. At some point does it pivot to measuring actual fortnights instead of 2 fortnights?
So many brilliant members here (I’m not one 😫) be such an amazing tool if someone could update said graph 💪🏻💗
That marker is pretty close honestly. MAYBE like one more bar over, but the Excel snippet is basically what you should be using
What do the numbers on the left side of the graph represent?
The amount of ILV being distributed for the rewards
that graph only takes in consideration distribution. if game comes out to be a massive success with many members the amount you make from staking and revdis is logically decreased drastically
This is what I'm expecting. I feel like I'm about to enjoy my last week of .5~ ILV a day.
After the Trailer I wouldn't be surprised if the SLP Rewards absolutely tank.
have you been doing it for long?
Not nearly long enough lol
Wait! Success = staking and Rev Dis loss ?? That’s NOT what I understood
Great success = GREAT REV DIS for staking 🤑🤑🤑 we want the game to be a BLOCKBUSTER to make us 💰💰💰
The raw amount of tokens that are given as yield farm is a static number. The more people who stake, the more you need to split that up to divide it equally.
That only applies to Yield though, RevDis is all about the more the merrier.
That’s not how he worded it tho . He said success in game , not increase in stakers
Yield is negatively impacted by success and attention because the reward amounts are static. Game success is all positive for RevDis, more money in, more money for stakers.
“that graph only takes in consideration distribution. if game comes out to be a MASSIVE SUCCESS with MANY MEMBERS the amount you make from staking and revdis is logically decreased drastically”
Graph is Sus
Well those are related, the more success the game has, the more people are going to stake
this graph only takes into consideration "Yieldfarming distribution" therefor ofcourse it will go down drastically if people stake a lot more. they didn't really mention revdis
@potent sable review this plz ^^^
I do not agree. Most people are players, not investors
but there will be more investors looking to stake in a game that is doing well with players. Therefor better game -> more gamers -> more investors -> more staking -> less yieldfarming
True, but still the more popularity the game gets, there is going to be an increase in stakers. Especially with revdis being something new that people haven't seen before
That’s why I questioned, because he added Rev Dis in the mix , he was throwing the baby out with the bath water
ah he did say revdis indeed! yeah that's a mistake. indeed revdis does not decrease a lot when the game is successful. rather it will increase 🙂
Well learning to stake is a hellacious experience, or we would of staked a month earlier at $90 ILV. In my long crypto experience I do not see “MILLIONS OF PLAYERS” rushing into sushiswap. At all.
I agree, but like Garfoodle said, when investors see a game being successful, they are going to want to be a part of it. And really, staking is not that hard to figure out. Plus, there will probably be TONS of guides out at that point
what decrease is the amount you get. sorry I chose poor words to my phrase
Especially by time there’s millions of players, it won’t be as attractive to stake a year from now IMHO
Been saying it for a while now. Many will not be stakers, but players and players spend ETH and ETH goes to stakers pockets. 😄 so def not millions are gonna go for Sushi. Our biggest buyer is RevDis and will always be RevDis
It’s hard for the avg person, idc how many guides . We are very experienced and took hours and lost $400 on METAMASK and that’s why @hexed bough even put a warning after our disastrous experience. But we here and keep adding ILV 💰
Ok. I didn't find it very hard and I had no experience, but I guess some struggle more than others
sushiswap took away 15% of my initial investment when I swapped. I asked about it in the sushiswap discord and they didn't have a solution or a reason why it happened hah and then they never came back on it. poor customer service 😦
But now that ILV's been added to CEX a lot of people will have a chance at staking ILV. SLP still not, but ILV I do think so.
Many like us use apple products and METAMASK and the two do NOT get along 🙃😭
Lol. Yea I do everything on my PC
Are you referring to pairing and making a pool token? Because you only get like .845 token per 2 ILV sushi ETH pair.
I know this by heart because we do 2 at a time 😜
Really? Thx for mentioning. Was gonna get a Mac. Not anymore. I have to buy the tyre to match the car with. In this case, buy a Laptop that's compatible with MM cuz MM is more important 😄
I'm just saying that the idea of using Metamask to stake should be relatively easy (at least in my experience), but that swapping with Sushiswap and then adding it to the pool made things relatively harder. If you could use Metamask with Binance and buy ILV to then stake it on the illuvium website it would still be doable.
2 at a time? So much gasss....
WHAT??! NO!! MACS ARE THE BEST COMPUTER 💯💯💯 FUCK PC’s! We have a film production company and use both. It’s just METAMASK that’s the problem. Not the Macs
Ah. So in this case gonna buy both 😄 gonna be poor after lol
Them's fighting words. Nobody called it the Mac Master Race, it's PC Master Race.
Happy to explain in depth exactly why PCs are supoerior in Off Topic 😛
Is it too late to stake sushi lp. 380 percent still is great
Again, genius @hexed bough saved the day, was so helpful! The solution is using Chrome browser on the Mac, ended up being as simple as that. We never used chrome prior to this, only safari. Now we only use chrome for crypto/NFT stuff 🤩
Never too late until it's too late
Well not when like every 2 weeks. Gas other day staking/claiming was $41 + $91
Good to know. I Personally use iPhone and Surface pro, but MM is on windows and I use Chrome there. Planning to go for a Laptop, but might end up buying a Mac too. My Surface Pro is getting too old to even open Character Leaks properly without lags lol
Idgaf about gas prices tbh. If I make a dollar profit, I’m in profit 💯
That's the spirit. Today it was actually good. Claimed and paid $30 something
The new MacBooks omg 😍
Huh, just noticed that there's a billion dollars in staking pools 🤩
1/3 belongs to @cunning perch
Yeah I wish. Lol. You meant 0.0000000001 😄
So, as I said earlier ^^^ we have 13 sILV for land and “could” add another 12, but thinkin to claim ILV, but now want to get higher tier so just up in the air, but IF the chart is accurate, seems we will still GMI with ILV rewards if we claim the next 30 days as sILV. Bottom line: trying to weigh the advantages of owning land and mining for profit and resell investments vs higher ILV amount for Rev Dis
Don’t want to miss out on ILV rewards if land is really a nothing burger 🍔
Hmm....today I hit my target for sILV and Gonna go fully for ILV now. Not claiming sILV what so ever anymore. Not planning to over do it and since APY is still good and rewards haven't dropped much, I will keep on adding to ILV cuz later when RevDis kicks in, YF will be dwarfed and personally would think it won't be worth new and small stakes. gonna the ILV stake bigger to maximize RevDis.
Thanks for sharing your personal strategy, sounds very solid. Congrats on hitting your sILV goal too! 🥳
There’s just so many layers of opportunity it seems. In playing: can be hunter , or focus on PvP.
In staking, can build ILV or buy multiple land as investments, even team up and manipulate resources prices
Thanks. If ILV is at $1k by launch, and I plan to play 5 hours everyday, I can put 8 sILV aside and grow it in-game while playing 5 hours per day. (that is if land doesn't produce enough ETH for the main game). I claimed as much as I needed to be enough for land and for the main game and Illuvatars. And form now on, gonna make sure I use the maximum YF rewards to claim ILV. Nothing is concrete yet and plans might change, but having a plan would always work. It's nice to share different ideas and learn from one another. I love it when discussions are practical and to the point
Is there any way to monitor ILV dashboard over ios devices? Please advise….thnaks
🤗
what roles land will play in the game? I cant find any reading material about it.
If your wallet is on your phone, you can connect it and see the dash there. @brisk surge
Let me find it and I'll sent it to you
chrome and the MM extension would do
@earnest shell there you go #🎮〕illuvium-zero message
amazing! looks like I'll be exchanging some sILV soon too. any rough idea when it will be the sale?
It'll be in November. Date unknown
Tried it already but didn’t work
@earnest shell watch stormi’s vid on IZ. It'll help you more
will check it out. thank you for the content
I staked via mm wallet on macbook
If your MM is also on your phone, you can connect it to the website. If you used a Cold Wallet, I don't think you can check on the phone
just got make sure you have it on chrome and the extension with the same wallet and should be able to
Guys I heard people are selling their sILV in a market. Do you guys know where? I am so curious.
It's in Uniswap V3. I think @ripe steppe has a vid for that
Gus brother. Use it in #👑〕bot-commands
Thanks again @cunning perch
Anytime 😎
Yeah… REFRESH iPhone Illuvium safari page 3 times to get accurate numbers. Been like that for over a week now @hexed bough
Yeah METAMASK won’t work to stake on iPhone, it’s like a Coin toss if it opens Metamask confirmation page
Mm ios ask me to re-input the seed phrase in order to sync the wallet with my phone…. I don’t wanna do so….is there any others way?
nop
Yes, abandon all hope 🤣 stick to MacBook using chrome MM extension hun 💯
This describes ILV & ILLUVIUM so much 💪🏻💯
Thanks a lot guys for the advice.. im just too afraid to type my seed phrase into my phone…i think im gonna keep monitoring on macbook then
No but saw some stuff about incremental roll out of 2.0. but it'll be slow and it's been pushed back already. I think next year we will hopefully see some reduced gas fees.
So the Illuvium site says that about 950M is staked right? but Etherscan shows that only ~411M of the illuvium is in the core pools. where are those remaining 550M are they locked due to the seed stakes? https://etherscan.io/token/0x767fe9edc9e0df98e07454847909b5e959d7ca0e#balances
Ballparking here, say XX mil is newly Staked after the trailer and land sales, what round guesses would be seen affecting the APY's?
No-one can say as the amount of $, number of new stakers, they pool they stake is is not clear. It's purely a guess and a guess is not academic.
Understood, what about theorizing that enough stakers will come in to drive the LP to sub 100٪ within a few months?
The reward distribution will drop ever two weeks regardless of new stakers joining in and the APY will also be dependent on price movements, but it say how many will join/stake, not possible.
<@&765892278131752970> can you help me. I’ve tried to stake, but I lost ETH and nothing happened. HASH 0x31a527eab6d23935de702e9cea576eee033906d02ba934c3024d1a6f5cbeaeb7

It costs me more to claim my staking rewards than the rewards themselves
You can wait to claim, where your rewards stack and when gas is lower. There are calculators to determine how long and when you should wait for profit
@little granite yeah unfortunately if you only stake a small amount, you will need to wait a long time to pull your rewards out for profit….. that’s why it’s recommended to do the math and calculations before staking to ensure you can make a profit
I am in that boat. My choices are to wait until rewards get large to claim or stake more so my rewards grow faster so I don't have to wait as long for larger rewards. Always make the move when gas is low. (nfa)
hello people have a nice night 🙂 Im thinking staking. do you see any negatif things about staking ?
Yeah the only negative thing about staking is all the money you’ll make
Is there any possible way of selling locked ILV rewards? I’m actually not planning to, but just had a thought that it could create an interesting dynamic. Almost like futures contracts
what is that mean ?
No if it’s locked you can’t sell have to wait your vesting period you chose.
NOT buying any apple product is the best decision you could make!!! Choosing Apple its like investing in a pineapple orchard in the artic a really bad choice PC / Android are superior !
Already have an iPhone and can't live without it. On the other hand, have always used Windows. So, I'm neutral 😄
OOHhh no your tainted !!! that's how its starts you need to cleanse the taint cleanse i say Embraace the android before its too late and your dooooooommmed! LOL
Haha. Well. “I’m doomed and I know it” 😎 gotta undoom myself, but I'm happy with my iPhone. Need a gaming laptop though. Alas this is #799010390201466880 😄
excuse me my imac looks really nice on my office desk as it slowly accrues layers of dust

You should have been a poet Jeff 😄
hey come on give me some credit, i'm typing this from my unnecessarily excessive pc i built
oh your forgiven for past mistakes but you must now SMITE the IMAC too fully cleanse yourself
Need more GIFs. Haven't had new ones for long 😄 use that unnecessarily excessive handmade PC of yours 😄
nooooooo
Just build a new PC as well. Way too powerful considering I went for two screens in 1080p due to video editing etc 😄
Is the SLP token price incorrect on etherscan?
https://etherscan.io/token/0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
If you look at an "Add liquidity ETH" transaction, the $ amount of ETH and ILV added doesn't match the $ amount of SLP received.
whaaaat you don't have a third vertical monitor for maximum discord modding?
it changed my life.
you're right, i've noticed the SLP token value is either always, or very often wrong on etherscan
i use that zerion link to check the SLP token price and ILV/ETH ratio from time to time
Yeah the more successful = the more revdis. But over time the token will blow up so the amount of revdis in ilv terms will be less. This isn't really a problem but the lower ilv stays then the more to be made when ilv hits 100k hahaha cause you'd have stacked more tokens
great thanks
hm, even that I don't think is accurate (much closer though). From the illuvium page (taking dollar value divided by # SLP tokens), I get a price of $3770 right now whereas zerion's is $3644 and etherscan is $3057. No idea how they get their numbers. I'm hoping the illuvium page is the most accurate?
the difference between zerion and illuvium dashboard is probably what price API they are using for ETH and ILV? if i had to guess
Actually etherscan pretty much has all the info you need to calculate it yourself.
https://etherscan.io/address/0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
You can see how much ILV and ETH the contract contains and the total supply of SLP tokens (which I assume is accurate). Which matches pretty closely with the illuvium website. Not sure why their own calculation of the market cap is so off.
does anyone know if I can withdraw ILV from binance to MetaMask using the Binance Smart Chain (BEP20) network?
Hey guys. Can some1 smarter than me check my numbers cuz it can’t be adding up. I’m missing something.
Here goes another newbie question. 😁 if I want to add to my SLP staking, I need to do 2 to with gas fees right? Assuming I already have ETH and ILV in my metamask. 1. Buying SLP token. 2. Staking SLP token. And part of my 2nd tx (staking) is the automatic claiming of my rewards so I don’t have to “claim” and “stake”. Did I get it right?
So I’m staking $50k worth worth of tokens and getting 43% appy at 2x weight. And I’m working out my monthly $made. So I’m working out as 50000 x .86 / 12 = $3583 a month!!
Then I’ll just continue to add to that with my reward and that number will then grow as the 50k is added too. Seems like it’s too good.
apy will slowly decrease, BUT when the game releases you will receive Revenue Dividends
Yea what do you think appy will decrease to b4 game launch. Yea I’m thinking fully diluted 8m tokens and if the game does say 400m rev a month. That’s $50 for every token you have monthly. If it’s disputed 100%. So if I have say 50 tokens I’m pulling in $2500 a month there too!!
Sorry for prob stupid questions I just like to crunch numbers and atm it’s hard for me to belive how good this actually is.
tbh i am not too sure, this would be best answered from someone else.
Also all my comments are "NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE" 🙂
Yea all comments everywhere are not financial advice.
ohhhh checked the pinned, there are calculators made!!!
#🥩〕staking message
here is one ^
Understand always. Appreciate all help.
It's impossible to predict exactly what things look like in the future because any additional stakers pull the rewards down further.
I believe the Staking APY for the core pool is 46% though, not the 86% it looks like you have in your math up above
I’ve done that because it’s 43% at 2x weight. So it’s doubling your steak % hence why I went 86%
43% is the 2x weight
Right ok. I didn’t realise that!!
No worries, just wanted to help make sure your math was in order 🙂
Thank you. Can you confirm is rev from game is going 100% to token holders
!revdis Yes, though this can be changed by the DAO if necessary. There's been discussions about the potential of 1% to charity, for example.
The tokenomics of this DAO include a 100% revenue distribution (could be subject to change - DAO governance). This means that any kind of revenue generated through sales or in-game revenue is distributed back to holders of staked ILV. The same max supply of 10 Million ILV will be used for this purpose regardless of how many games the DAO develops.
Revenue distribution is paid out in the form of unlocked ILV and the payout is done multiple times a week without a fixed schedule. Before paying out revenue distribution, the vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by buying it off the market which puts buying pressure on the ILV token and thus supports its price development.
Thank you heaps guys
Really? I use both and I haven't had any issues of note.
If I staked from two different wallets, will there be a way to transfer or combine them?
Need some help here, thanks in advance 😁 if I want to add to my SLP staking, I need to do 2 tx with gas fees, right? Assuming I already have ETH and ILV in my metamask. 1. Buying SLP token. 2. Staking SLP token. And part of my 2nd tx (staking) is the automatic claiming of my rewards so I don’t have to “claim” and “stake”. Did I get it right?
Hi guys pretty new here, any advice on how many minimum ILV should I have before staking so it covers the gas fee in a more reasonable amount in the long term?
Hey guys, I'm trying to stake in the eth-ilv pool. I'm hearing about impermanent loss and it's confusing me
I would say make sure the amount doesn't eat into your profits once you stake and eventually claim rewards.
I was just curious how you'd lose equity staking in this pool if one of the two (eth or ILV) shot up in value
No it's an ERC20 token
You guys think its worth staking in the SLP pool if I only have 2.5 ILV.... I watched the YT videos and checked out the Excel sheets but still find it confusing....
Bought when it was $445
Hello everyone. I was just curious. Our slp value on the dashboard is reflective of current price if withdrawn? Or does impermanence loss kick in after you initiate the withdraw?
i believe what it shows is what you will get. impermanent loss would be what you would have had in total if you had kept the amount of coins you originally deposited subtract the amount you get now
Okay cool thanks
Nice one!
SLP Pool?
Guys again just trying to work it out here. Atm it says appy is 46% on 2x weight.
I am staking 50k and it’s returning about 50$ a day.
So Maths is 50$ x 365(days) = $18250 per year
So $50000 / $18250 is 36.3% gain
How am I only getting that gain when it’s supposed to be 46% apy?
Again appreciate all non financial advise
How much ilv do you get per day, at current prices, if you stake in ilv (locked)? How about sushi liquidity (locked)?
ILV pool is 46.21% APY and SushiLP is 385.86% APY. The amount will depend on how much you stake and for how long.
It comes out to be about $63 a day at 46%.
Did you lock your stake for one year to get the full 46%?
Yea I understand that it comes out as that I’m just saying how it’s working out atm as I’m looking at it. Yea 12 months lock. Could the counter be behind?
How closely have you watched it, is it really 50 for 24 hrs?
Gm guys.☕
Got my first 1 ILV reward😁
Small Shrimp here, but it feels gooooodddd..
It could be a little off. I imagine it changes constantly given all the factors that truly affect the APY. I suspect it would be quite difficult to display it in real time as it would have to change anytime the price changes, people unstake, people stake, etc.
Yea agree thank you.
I'm with @wispy ferry on this
@silent cedar so basically just multiply and divide by 365 days? Thanks mate!
Congratulations!!!! So awesome and addicting.
Thank you. Also is your apy paid out on the tokens in there? So if the token doubles in price. You will then get double the apy you was previously?
There are calculators pinned. I would run your numbers for yourself. NFA Cheers!
Thanks bro🤪
@silent cedar got it, thanks mate!
You are welcome. That I'm not 100% entirely sure. I would think so but the price has been rocketing so I would think the APY would have risen quite a bit. But on the other hand, the TVL is also rising!
It's a little more complicated than that. The APY is paid out in ILV, so yes, if ILV doubles, the amount your interest is worth also doubles. However, in the ILV pool, your stake is also in ILV, so the APY % doesn't actually change. (Basically, if the APY is 40% and ILV doubles, instead of earning 4k on a 10k stake, you're now earning 8k on a 20k stake, which is still a 40% APY.)
With SLP, it's a bit more complicated. Basically, SLP is a combination of ETH and ILV, so it'll go up some if ILV doubles, just not as much as ILV alone. That does mean the APY% will go up if ILV spikes, but it won't go up as much as ILV does. (Conversely, the APY can also go down if ETH spikes, as the SLP will go up in value but your interest won't.)
In short, if ILV doubles, the amount of ILV you earn as interest won't change, but the amount your ILV is worth will double. The APY % will remain unchanged for the ILV pool, and increase by a lesser amount for the SLP pool.
Thank you that’s what I thought. Appreciate your time
50k is quite a bit. That would slaughter in the SLP pool.
Right!?!
If I staked Sushi LP for a year, can I not add to my stake in the future? because it says I can't claim reward until stake is over
You can add to your stake at any time. In addition, you may claim rewards at any time. What you can't do is withdraw your stake until your lockup period (anywhere from instant to 1 year) has expired, and you must wait one year after claiming to withdraw rewards.
Ahh, that's helpful. So I can claim rewards to use in game and add to my stake, I just don't want to do it when they are so low it's not worth the gas
Correct. And to be clear, any rewards claimed as sILV (for in-game use only) can be used immediately. It's rewards claimed as ILV that you have to wait before withdrawing. And yes, the only downside to claiming is the gas fee.
Where can I go for more digestible info? The youtube video was useful but there is only one video on that channel so far.
The medium blog is probably the best resource. You'll need to scroll through it, but there's a handful of posts further explaining the staking process and various terms. https://medium.com/illuvium
niceeeee congrats.. how you win that?
So its beneficial to occasionally claim your $ILV rewards right?, assuming low gas. is the only benefit that it is able to be withdrawn faster (after 1 year after a claim) or are there rewards buildup changes also involved?
Rewards must be claimed to earn an compounding rewards. Pending rewards earn no interest - once ILV is claimed it is automatically staked in the core pool for 12 months at 2x weight, earning additional rewards.
oh so I definitely need to claim haha thanks
Just make sure the pending rewards you are claiming are worth the gas you are spending.
Yes thank you!
Do you guys have a minimum amount of ILV to claim for it to be worth the gas?
It’s whatever you feel comfortable with spending. I like to claim when the value of the claim vs gas is at least 5:1. I’m totally into paying $100 to receive $500 😆
rewards from staking
if you start of with "x" ilv and say you decide to add "y" ilv more 3 months later is y is it added to "x " or does it stay as why and considered "new" and separate for m X ?
Also how does compounding work if you reinvest your reward considered separate again "c" ?
If you check the vesting tab you'll see the number of days left indicating the different times it was staked. However, the rewards from all of them are pooled together so when you claim it's only once for all.
ahh ok thats good and would save on gas fees
It's one of the reasons why when you try to stake after your first stake that you're forced to claim your rewards. Every source of yield is being pooled into one reward for future claim.
so you make the same if you have one big stake and several smaller stakes ?
Well yes and no. Cause you need to consider timing of your staking. If you did it a month ago where apy is higher then you'd be getting more during that time for sure. But if we compare same apy for both then yes. It's just that you've wasted more on gas in staking smaller stakes than one big one
sorry if i wasn't clear I was mainly talking about regularly trying to compound by reinvesting rewards ( say collecting once month for example ) and maybe adding extra to them at time's ( refering to yoru statment about wasting gas by doing small stakes
Oh, then yes. Just have to be aware of the reducing apy. It's 3% every forthweek. You might get surprised why there was a slight reduction in rewards when it happens
so dimisnishing returns it will eventually hit "0" ?
Havent done the math but regardless all yield rewards ends after the 3rd year.
Oh well that is a little bit too far in the future to start to worry about lol ty for your time appreciated
Yup! Enjoy the sweet sweet yield in the present lol. No worries. If you have more questions feel free to ask
Nope. Just ILV pool
Am I tripping or in the SLP pool, if ETH rockets higher than we’ll have more ILV when we withdraw the stake?
And if ILV rockets, we’ll have more ETH when we withdraw the stake?
Either way, if we believe in these coins long term. And disregard the potential loss due to price appreciation missed but make up for it by the insane APY.
Doesn’t SLP pool just seem like a win win? Or am I fundamentally missing something?
@sonic lotus i was wondering the same
Haha best stake pool ever right!?
Yea the more I think about it the more it feels like an absolute no brainer! That’s why I’m just curious if I’m missing something hahahah
That’s what got me… thsn the more I read into the project the more I kept investing. It’s so wild. I’ve looked for everything snd I just keep getting more excited as I research
Nope. Try a little. Thsn try to find a weak point you don’t like… I literally haven’t found any weak points I don’t like yet I just keep getting more bullish
Look up Vetemor channel on YouTube, he's got great explanation vids
i'm really excited also and think staking the in the slp eth is a a no brainer since both eth and ilv will rise in value multifold in the next few years
Can someone please tell me how to get the slp to stake it? I'm going crazy. I bought ILV already.TIA.
Still have some eth? Need equal parts eth and ilv, then go to sushiswap and provide liquidity for the pair
That will spit out slp tokens to your wallet, you take those back to ilv site and stake it there
do you think it’s problematic claiming rewards on metamask/ iphone?
SLP stake requires ETH matching amount. also checked the pinned posts, many tutorials available
Claimed SLP rewards and somehow managed to claim ILV pool twice, and the SLP pool rewards have been processing for 4 hours. Havent had this before, is this common?
Hey guys there is something I am failing to grasp about reward. I see they can be claimed at any time, but when do they start showing up ? Is the refresh every week/month/years ?
When the transaction goes through you should see it. Maybe do a F5.
Probably a gas issue. Speed u maybe?
I haven't started the stacking yet. I was worried that if I lock my sushi for 2 years I won't see any reward for a year or something
Rewards are with each block. The moment you stake every 15 seconds they keep on piling up in “pending rewards” section
Alright, thanks
Be careful. It's not sushi that you can stake in ILV. And you cannot lock for 2 years. At least not now
Hmm, so if I stake SLP, the reward won't be something I can claim as ILV or sILV, is that what you are saying ?
You said Sushi, so SLP is when you stake ILV + ETH in Sushi pool and get the SLP token and then lock that into SLP pool on ILV website.
Alright
!lp here you can find the step by step guide
Well I have 2 SLP tokens, that's what I was calling sushi
If they are the ILV/ETH token and NOT axie SLP, sure. Many confuse our SLP with that of Axie.
Yes, mines are the ILV/ETH. Thank you for the help.
Okay 0.000055 ILV reward, it's a beginning ❤️
No worries. Happy to help. Enjoy the rewards 🙂
Have a nice day guys. See you on the moon.
Hey guys any updates on V2 ?
None other than the minutes in #📯〕council-chambers
I don't see those . Any dot points
V2 start date
APY
thx
What does weight mean when I’m staking in a pool?
You double the APY if weight is x2
Because it’s locked and is higher risk you are rewarded with double
Oh alright thanks
I think you get double RevDis but someone else will have to confirm that I am correct on that one
I’ve asked around and that seems to be the consensus
I want to claim my first slp pool rewards and was wondering if it will be 2 transactions or just 1 since i don't have anything to claim in the ilv pool jet. Thx in advance
correction, it still takes 2x eth transactions to claim. But only one if claiming silv I believe...
hihi i wanna ask abt staking in slp, wat is the gas fees that i shuld expect?
if i were to buy them directly in sushi

With MetaMask now it should give you the correct gas fee but just in case it doesn't you can always look at https://etherscan.io/gastracker
I am sitting here waiting for my ledger to come before I stake 5 ilv at this moment have watched videos an see people here hyping the 50/50 pool due to the higher APY but i am still convinced that in "long term" its the most riskiest investment for loss due to impermanent and people are downplaying loss factor less of a risk than it actually is . If anyone has some NON financial advice about a impermanent loss worst case scenario in Nov 2022 because right now i am thinking the plain pool is still the best way to go in the terms of longevity ,stability and profitability. if am not understanding something please let me know of course all answers will be taken as non financial advice
Yea that's fine
Hi Boys and Girls, can you please help me? I have issue with staking in Sushi LP pool.. I had SLP tokens, I tryed to stake it in SLP lock pool. After setting up gas and executing last action come up as - Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Reverted] - trans. hash - 0xaba47d72e3ad6b04cd0c3d1fb0445e4277d6c74a2274967d3b49664df62155f2
But in Dashboard I can see my SLP as staked and also I can see rewards are comming in, seems like everything is OK, should I worry?
Yes you're fine it looks like you tried to do the same transaction a minute later but the first transaction went through which was staking your SLP.
Thank you Tony, just wanted to be sure, because it looked fishy. 👍
No nothing out yet. It'll be announced officially.
@cunning perch hi sorry to bother you do you have anythoughts on my last post
Hey can you send me the link? 🙂 or I have to scroll up and search for it hahaha 😄
Ok wen is that ? Bcs I can't get into V2 chat
Still blocked 👀
Well. Personally, I would say it totally depends on how risk taking you are. SLP is great and will benefit you, but you have to keep in mind that we have two major updates coming up that MIGHT push ILV much higher and IL will most def happen. But, you are being compensated for that as it is still early to joining either pool and you will get the rewards. Now, depending on the amount of ETH I (I mean you) have for gas, if I had only 5 ILV, I would go with the single pool if I was short on ETH, if not, you can join SLP too if you can take a bit of risk and also pay 2 gas each time you claim.
When it's out let me know so I will DM it to you or share it publicly. But V2 will be out later, probably naxt month or so. Still no fix date yet cuz the draft has yet to be released and voted upon.
Thx and the APY's v2
Anything regarding V2 needs to be polished and rewritten and approved and then I'll let you know 100%
over a $billion locked in staking... nice
Thanks mate will do. 🙏🏻
Ok thanks you you have a great way of explaining this and are straightforward. I think this a lot of this is more of me being impatient and having to wait for my ledger and i am over thinking this lol . The another benefit of the ledger is its blocking my impulsiveness and excitement i am probably doing alot more reading watching videos and thinking to pass the time than i would have LOL
No worries I would happily explain anything and share my thought should anyone ask 🙂 it's ok. You are entering in a safe way and that is what should matter the most. Until then, you can play with numbers, decide what best works for you and makes you happy. 🙂
hey since big announcements next week, it is better to just buy ILV now instead of staking it right?
That my friend is a question to which only you know the answer. 🙂
😵💫
IM sort of in the same situation I am still fighting with myself over witch pool to choose lol
well i staked in slp for 12 months 2 days ago
yea i jsut don't trust what the il factor is goingto be in Nov 22
I staked in both pools, but if i claim slp rewards will claim the ILV pool as well right ?
Yes 2x tx cost
you pay a transaction action cost every time you collect rewards to right ? So the slp+plain ( if you have both) is always reward - trans- trans = net? but that covers both pools ?
Does the APY on illuvium now take into account the 0.97^26 difference from the upcoming year? So it takes the avarage of the starting and ending value of the year now to come out at the actual APY from a pool? Of course not considering the reduction due to extra stakers?
nah, for what i ve understand from docs, this apy is "instant apy" so give an idea but in reality doesn t mean much (as always with apy as it will always change)
will the V2 version of staking also have some kind of Zap feature where I can just deposit pure ETH and the website does the process of swapping, pooling, staking?
kinda if you divide it by 365 you have kinda the daily reward but will change days after days
You can use this calculator by Deraji: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Pm6b54YRTjdv6cDmWwudyejk2aA8XSEB5CgzKWe1N20/edit#gid=1081806308

thanks bruv
wow even if ILV pumped 20 times more than eth you would still have massive gains from staking in SLP pool
only with a high enough APY.
i think 300 plus is high enough right
I think just flexible stake core pool until after land sale in case of pump
is it worth paying gas fees just to stake couple days? hmmm🤔
depending on your stake size, maybe. if you stake $100k now, you will make about $100-150 for 2 days I think and then pay $100-150 to unstake it. worth it?
If you're staking 100k then you're doing about 1.7 ILV / day. At today's rate that's $ 1.3k.
is that in SLP or ILV pool?
SLP
My pm was for ILV pool 😄
ye, ilv flexible pool
Oh, sorry...🤦🏻
No worries. I just wanted to say 2 days might/might not be worth staking depending on your stake size for 2 days 🙂
No, not really. We're talking about $150 per day here
yep that's about right 🙂 yeah for 2 days you get like $300 if you stake $100k in the ILV pool and then you will have to withdraw and pay half (if not more) in gas
and the weight on flexible is 1
yes we didn't that the weight into consideration as you are in flexible and want to remove so....there was no need. and my calculation was based on $100k.
Even worse, then
come one he hasn't even said how much he wants to stake and we took it as $100k 😄
How much ilv and eth do you need to make one slp? What's the ratio?
Is today the last day of LINK pool?
are there any link to staking rewards daily that someone could link me?
Does this answer your question?
@past falcon thanks mate! Basically I need 2.33 ilv to make one slp?
Yeah, PLUS 0.462 ETH
Thank you!
Hey guys anyone tried to claim both pools with slow transactions? Last week I did my first claim, but it was only SLP pool and I waited 3 days to get 30 gwei transaction. But now I know you have to do 2 transactions, can I put them with low gas fee as well?
I would see what the current gas prices are and do that if you put it to low and it takes to long you make a Tx error: ran out of gas or it might never go through.
Do you know if both transaction start at the same time or I have to wait the first to start the second?
https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/, and app.sushi.com/add/ETH/xxxxxx are not pulling in my MM holdings. Wallet is visibly connected on both. Any idea why are not pulling through my balances of either ETH or ILV?
Illuvium | Staking
You mean you have tokens in your MM and when you connect it to either ILV website or Sushi, neither shows the tokens?
Yes, been trying all weekend to stake my remaining balances with no luck
This is extreme ...
We're soon to have 1 billion in staked assets
Maybe try changing the browser, update it, update your wallet, clear cache and make sure the correct wallet is connected to the websites. Since your problem contains two unrelated websites, I'd say problem is from your end. Do those things and it should work. If not, maybe try resseting your wallet but make sure you have your SEED phrase before doing so
We've already hit it twice 😄 the price fell though. It also takes LINK, SNX, XYZ and AXS into account too. Some still haven't pulled out their tokens I believe
Thanks. Yep I removed MM from chrome and re-added from seed phrase but still wont pull my holding through. Maybe I'll get it going on my phone instead of just with my laptop
Sure. I hope it works out for you 🙂
No need to wait because the platform will prompt you to confirm both transactions automatically. You can just put the same gas price to both transactions.
😭
A chrome update seemed to work thanks!
Glad it worked out for you 🙂
Now, hopefully gas goes toward 60 or so within 10-12 hours lol
Anybody knows how long it takes to unstake the SLP? I tried to unstake mine and it's been over 2 hours after I made 2 confirmations in MM wallet but still waiting for the transaction to go through. Thanks!
Gas?
I used the default gas recommended by the wallet
How do I stake
I did some transactions today setting Gas at 52. All went through. Just have to wait a little bit.

How do you calculate how much SLP you can buy if you stake 'x' amount of dollars?
Take the SLP token address from the pins and put it into etherscan. From there it will show you the value of SLP in dollars.
Check the pool value here: https://app.zerion.io/invest/asset/SLP-0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
To make it clearer: If you invest $3'530 right now, you will get 1 SLP
@brisk surge your way says $3057, @past falcon your way says $3537.....little bit of a difference there.
well thats odd
Any questions?
The dashboard on Illuvium.io seems to think its $3661.95
Nope. I know how to calculate it once I found the price. Just wasn't sure why there is a $500 price difference
I have no idea which would be most accurate. Weird that all the different places are showing such big differeces.
I just bought some and it's a little less than $4,000/SLP
how do you earn sILV
Staking in any of the pools allows you to claim your rewards as ILV or sILV.
should we start claiming slp yet
depends on how large your rewards are
hey I was wondering if there has been any talk about limiting who gets rev dis in staking as some whales could just pick up a large bag before rev dis and stake it, recieve their rev dis and then get out
Need help. Newbie here on cypto. How do earn? Thank you for the notice.
!earn Welcome - have a look through the #❓〕faq for some more general information, there's lots to learn!
Thank you for notice and information.
Can someone explain to me what "A full cycle of travelling, curing shards, etc. is currently estimated to be around $50 (this can still change)." means? I just don't want to be confused haha
Thank you all
It means that in order to grab all of the gear you need to do a "loop", including shards to capture a monster, it will cost approximately $50. The theory is that most trips will net you more than that, and some considerably more.
But also, #💬〕general
Oh right, now I get it...Yep, I will move there))
following up to @cyan rampart. Thanks for the info, I'm planning on just staking ILV as im not too sure about the whole liquidity aspect of sILV. And yeah gas prices are a mess right now but what are the odds of it settling down to what it was in june/july vs just continuing to spike like mad.
Gotcha - just to be clear, the SLP is ETH/ILV in 50/50 USD value proportions, and not anything to do with sILV. The SLP has a risk of IL associated with it, as opposed to the ILV only pool. The SLP has a much higher APY to compensate for the risk of IL.
This past week I've seen gas get as low as 50-ish while I've been watching. It's not much, but it can save you a pretty big chunk if you're doing multiple transfer + swaps + staking. Odds-wise, who knows - gas seems to be high during times of major market activity (i.e. prices pumping) and NFT minting (which is effectively unpredictable without a lot of research).
I didnt realize that about the differences in APR, that's good to know, but its more basic than that I just dont understand what it means to have liquidity on sushi swap to hold SLP.
Oh - so when you provide liquidity (this just means providing 50/50 ILV/ETH), you receive SLP tokens, which you can stake on the website. Your liquidity goes into the liquidity pool, and is used to help facilitate people trading between ILV and ETH. LPs can be pretty complicated at the technical level, but that's basically how they work. You provide liquidity, get SLP, stake those tokens for yield, and meanwhile your liquidity is used by the liquidity pool to facilitate trading on Sushiswap.
Every time I collect rewards it’s a one year vesting period. If I collected every month could I collect rewards monthly after a year starting from the first time I collected.
Oh so then if i was to want to put in $800 of Stake into SLP i would keep half 400 of eth on sushi to act as liquidity for the other 400 to stake as sILV?
Like I collect rewards for slp staking January 1st and February 1st of 2021. Could I collect those rewards January 1st 2022 and then collect again February 1st 2022.
Yeah that's exactly right - keep some ETH for gas fees as well! There's a calculator in the pinned messages that can help you estimate gas fees.
Does vesting restart every time I collect? Or is vesting period set to every time I collect like the explanation above.
Depending which videos you've watched, there's also guides to staking the SLP in the pinned messages 🙂
Vesting begins when you claim rewards.
Awesome, thank you for taking the time to respond to me! this was a huge help 🙂
So yes, if you claim Jan 1 2021 and Feb 1 2022, you would be able to withdraw those ILV rewards on Jan 1 2022 and Feb 1 2023. Don't ask me about leap years though 😉
hey all. I staked a couple month ago into the core ILV pool, but now I would like to stake in the sushi pool. Can anyone help me out? I thought the way to do it was to provide liquidity to the sushi ETH/ILV pool which gives you SLP that you then stake on the illuvium.io site, but I can't figure out how to provide the liquidity on the sushi site itself. There is a button to "add", but the button doesn't do anything. I tried both mobile and pc
Do you have equal parts ETH and ILV?
oh I see
so if I ave 5 ETH, I'll swap 2.5 to ILV and then I can pair them and add and get SLP?
Correct. Though just save some of your ETH for gas since it will cost gas to make the SLP, and it will also cost gas to stake it on the website
yup, thanks
new problem, Sushi is connected to my wallet, but MetaMask says its not. So when I swap, it just says "confirm in your wallet" - and nada
Hmmmm. Are you on mobile or desktop?
do you have multiple accounts on your MM?
