No, there is not. LP pool requires both pools to be claimed. This is already done to minimize some fees in the background etc. I cannot explain to you the technical details here now, but claiming LP rewards requires both pools to be claimed.

Typically the way people do it is to buy ETH or something "approved" on a CEX, transfer it off the CEX to a private wallet, and then trade their ETH (or whatever) on a DEX for ILV. You'd have to check your CEX's policy, but generally you convert to fiat through a CEX.

I don't know if there's some laws prohibiting it but I don't think so; securities laws (if any are applicable) are meant to protect investors so they don't really make investing activity by individual investors illegal. But you DO have to pay your taxes, which can require a good bit more work to track and calculate when you participate in defi and other crypto investments

I don’t know this answer. Stats aren’t really known by us plebs. But to fuse to the next stage will likely increase base stats 2x or more. Plus some additional affinity and class bonuses. So you’d need to be able to level way far to get that much stat increase.

• You acquire either some ILV or some Sushi LP tokens

• You enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired
• You decide whether to lock your deposit or not (if locked, you will receive more rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution, but you cannot withdraw your deposit until the chosen locking period is over)
• After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it) you confirm the staking of the desired tokens

HEy. Welcome. Rn gas is not reasonable and if you are not planning to buy a huge batch, you might end up paying a lot in gas. Every Transaction like swapping/staking/claiming or sending (aka Smart Contract) requires Gas.

Gas is a representation of the cost of a transaction. It's currently high at about 80 - you'd ideally wait for gas to drop to something like 20 or 30.

Hey everyone, I wanted to stake some ILV, gone to sushiswap and wanted to swap some eth for ILV. I have never used sushiswap before. Connected metamask with my ledger, entered an amount and a window pops up with the transaction confirmation, but there is an enourmously high gas fee like $50. I checked on gasnow and the fast gas is only about $3. How am I supposed to understand this? Is there multiple transactions going on when swapping at sushiswap?

Hey. you can check gas on the right side of the screen (under ETH price). It's at 51 Gwei which could be around $40-60 at the moment.

Hey Shadowbourne-- the pairing on SushiSwap is ETH/ILV so if you have ETH, you will want to use that to minimize the fees you have to pay. If you use USDT to swap for ILV, it will first swap USDT to ETH and then swap ETH for ILV and you'll likely pay more gas fees.

Yeah, first step is to get the ETH to your Metamask wallet.
From there, you can either swap in Metamask (although Metamask may have an additional fee they take for doing it... I've never used that option tbh)
Or you can perform the swap directly on Sushiswap by setting the "From" token to ETH and the "To" token to ILV

Yeah-- You'll need to send ETH to your Metamask wallet first. Then once you've linked your Metamask wallet to Sushi (https://app.sushi.com/swap) then you can swap from ETH to ILV. Keep in mind the gas fees will need to be paid for in ETH too

The tokenomics of this DAO include a 100% revenue distribution (could be subject to change - DAO governance). This means that any kind of revenue generated through sales or in-game revenue is distributed back to holders of staked ILV. The same max supply of 10 Million ILV will be used for this purpose regardless of how many games the DAO develops.

Revenue distribution is paid out in the form of unlocked ILV and the payout is done multiple times a week without a fixed schedule. Before paying out revenue distribution, the vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by buying it off the market which puts buying pressure on the ILV token and thus supports its price development.

sILV is a substitute currency that can be gained as yield when staking ILV. In game, it can be used to pay for any fee (excluding IlluviDEX trades and Leviathan Arena wagers) that otherwise would be paid for with the main currency ETH.

While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.

When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:

• You acquire either some ILV or some Sushi LP tokens
• You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
• You enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired
• You decide whether to lock your deposit or not (if locked, you will receive more rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution, but you cannot withdraw your deposit until the chosen locking period is over)
• After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it) you confirm the staking of the desired tokens

Hey. The gas you see right now is at its most reasonable. It's been around 100 recently and not its lower. You can always buy from CEXs so you wouldn’t pay swapping fee, but to stake, you need to pay it nonetheless. So it's better to have a bigger stake to outweigh the gas, otherwise paying more for gas is not reasonable tbh

Yes, if you go through the steps to add the BSC network in Metamask, then you'll at least be able to see that you have the AXS tokens, but those tokens will still be on the BSC network. I'm assuming if you need AXS and SLP on the ETH network to "use" them (again, I have no idea about Axie stuff), then you'll still need to move them from BSC to ETH Mainnet

Providing liquidity for ILV is done via an ILV/ETH Pool on SushiSwap and requires a few different steps compared to staking only ILV. These steps are the following:

• You acquire a 50/50 ratio of both ILV and ETH (in $)
• You go to: https://app.sushi.com/add/ETH/0x767FE9EDC9E0dF98E07454847909b5E959D7ca0E
• After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it), you stake your 50/50 ratio of ETH and ILV in the pool
• You receive SLP tokens (To see them, add the SLP contract address to your wallet: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda)
• You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
• You can now stake your SLP Tokens in the Sushi LP pool just like ILV is staked in the ILV pool.
