It was a contract interaction scam. As long as you did not approve a signature you should be alright.

As in they map their own custom keys, but it's not built in to the game? I figure it would need some work to be fluid with the autobattler.

Last I knew it was not even possible to edit the key mapping in the game. So they did something with their controllers to match what the game had. They usually only used it for overworld stuff not the autobattler as much anyways.

That makes the most sense, until the team has time to integrate it. Might need some creative thinking to make it smooth! But I would play at work all day if I had pvp on the handheld.

It looks like it was all a contract interaction. You just tried to link your wallet to it or something? You did not input your secret phrase anywhere?

nope all it asked was to cover the cost of gas "85 dollar's" and i did

and then it asked me to pay another 85. So i was like "oh that one didnt go through ill send another" and then somehow the otsea was gone

The wallet looks nearly completely drained of most anything of value. I’d say setting up a new wallet would be smart. If you want to do stuff in crypto long term I’d recommend getting a hardware wallet and using metamask integration. While that won’t always prevent a scam transaction like this it can help. Using a service like wallet guard can help raise red flags too.

if you don't use a hardware wallet or maybe even if you do, you might wana transfer all your stuff to a clean wallet.

Illuvium offers various ways to participate in the play-to-earn (P2E) economy, including the option to:

• Sell captured Illuvials
• Sell farmed materials
• Sell crafted items
• Earn a portion of the 1 Million ILV reserved for in-game rewards

Please note that while the game itself is free to play, a monetary commitment is required to fully participate in the earning aspect of the economy

You dont need NFTs to start out with. You can buy Illuvitars which are PFPs, purely for the aesthetivs and in-game aesthetic options. But only ig you want to look cool.

Illuvials are going to be the Pokemon-cards of the game. You need to go on an expedition to capture them and those expeditions will cost money if you want to have the stronger and more rare Illuvials and resources.

There will be a free to play area. But that will probably not be very lucrative

You would require Fuel, the currency that is minted on Lands.

And to buy fuel you would require Eth or fiat currencies, as Illuvium/immutable is looking to use Moonpay for fiat onramping.

ILV is the stock/governance token of Illuvium. If you want to share in the success of Illuvium, you would buy ILV and lock it up for up to a year. You would become eligible for revenue distribution (a DAO version of Dividends). And you would be able to vote on your favorite councilmember someone; who hears the community out and makes decisions for the DAO based on expert advice but also Community sentiment. -basically the project's parliament 🙂

Illuvitars are different from Illuvials. Illuvials are the creatures you will capture in the open world and use in arena battles. Illuvials cannot be used in Illuvium Beyond (album) and vice versa.

One way is to send it some eth. If the wallet gets drained then it’s not safe. If you don’t have much in the wallet then what’s then there’s not much lost.

But if there’s not been a transaction then it’s probably safe.

Asking on a public forum for an expert to help you is the perfect invitation for scammers to contact you so they can scam you further. Be careful

Hey guys just a quick question. So if I leave my staked amount in and don’t claim the rewards does that the compound and keep earning or do I need to claim rewards then re stake ??

Rewards only begin to earn and become eligible for revdis after the claim. Stake, even after the lock period ends, continues to generate rewards and remains eligible for revdis at the initial weight; there is no need to restake.
