I think its a well executed combo. They have high value NFTs like land and rare Illuvitars for the big spenders in the crypto space. But they also have free Illuvitars and the microtransactions in the main game will be farily affordable (probably $2-$5 minimum) which should be comfortable enough to get traditional gamers involved.

You will always have the chance to catch higher tier stuff from lower cost transactions. The more expensive payments just give you a much higher chance of encountering something more valuable.

The way i look at it, you arent really 'gambling' $30 though. Lets say you really want to catch a ramphy so you pay for an expensive travel, You dont find the ramphy you wanted but the value of the things you did collect was around $30. So you can just sell that stuff and try again.

There’s illuvitars, in a sale. There’s the in game illuvials that are minted by players that are playing the game and capturing the illuvials. There’s armor and weapons that get minted in the game by players. There’s blueprints and skins and skinned items that can be minted by players. There will eventually be multiple future land sales where more of the 100k lands will be sold.

Seed and preseed have a linear unlock over 12 months. Team tokens have a linear unlock over 3 years. Yield farm rewards are unlocking 1 year after they are claimed and staking started around July 1 so that will unlock based on when people claimed rewards.

ILV that can be deposited into the staking contract is ILV that already on the market. BUT ILV that you can claim as rewards is not on the market (or even minted) until you withdraw it AFTER it’s 12 month vesting period ends.

Those minted/withdrawn ILV rewards would actually increase the currently listed FDV in addition to the marketcap. But not beyond the maximum 10million tokens.

Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:

• When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
• You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
• If you claim sILV2 you have it unlocked right away (sILV2 is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
• If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
• New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.

Based off that I think they just are upgrading the art assets and then will let us test the game with the bugs. Which I think is a good idea. We can see how badly the community wants to play with their land so I don’t think bugs are going to deter people from playing it.

You'll be able to produce fuel to be used in the main game, yeah. However the fuel produced during the Open Alpha will not be on the block chain. It's for testing purposes and it all gets wiped before the launch of the Open Beta (except Blueprints which are true NFTs and you keep them).

The Open Beta for both games is expected to be at the same time so then any Fuel you produce in Illuvium: Zero at that time **will ** be on the blockchain and useable in the main Illuvium game 🙂

Probably around $30 at current GWEI if I were to guess! It will always vary based on how much traffic there is on the ETH network. But if you already have the ILV in your wallet, you can start the stake transaction on the website and you'll get a pop up showing the estimated gas fee. Then if you don't want to pay that, you can Decline the transaction and you won't lose any funds 👍

For this pool, it's recommended to read up on "Impermanent Loss" as that is a risk with providing the pair of tokens to the liquidity pool

Retail investors are unlocking at the same time as seed/preseed/team tokens. Taking some profits is a pretty reasonable thing to do, although the timing (IMO) isn't ideal. I'd personally be waiting for game launch and/or the middle of a bull market to do any major selling (if I were the selling type 😉 ). Every investor is just a person though, so it's definitely possible some people just sell off their ILV.

There's quite a few "guides" on youtube, which is people explaining why they purchased land mainly. I have yet to see any of the original land sale people come up with good land though.

Some of the blueprint peeps are going for atlas because infoluvial wrote an article about atlas blueprints, so thats halcyon sea and one other one i can't remember.

fuel / element is all speculation at this point as to whats going to be the best bang for the buck. There's one streamer claiming ROI of 158 days on the terrible land he bought, but again, he has 0 basis for that. So be careful what you watch on there
