you need the sILV2 contract address from "Helpful-Links" on the left.... on uniswap you manage tokens, find the tab for add custom token... paste in the sILV2 contract.... import.... then click max..... this will be to convert all your eth but you need like $15 or so in ETH for gas so reduce the amount you're converting by like $25-$30

Plot numbers and wallet address are all public information, people are literally wearing their NFTs as their PFPs. Social engineering also requires neither of those things, you have to be diligent always.

What's the reasoning behind purchasing with sILV2 being much cheaper than ETH?

sILV2 is always pegged to the price of ILV within the Illuvium ecosystem, meaning for the purpose of this sale the price of sILV2 is honored at the price of ILV. But you can buy sILV2 on the secondary market for a decent amount less than ILV currently costs since the DAO has no control over secondary pricing, so if you swap your ETH to sILV2 you will increase your purchasing power for free by taking advantage of this arbitrage

Staking will still be on L1 for quite some time (like, year+ timeframe), but that doesn't affect the player experience.

Land is not required to play the main game in anyway. But illuvium: Zero acts as a great “companion game” for the main game as the fuel you produce can be used for different actions in the main game. (See pinned message for differences)

This is just my opinion, but quality >>> quantity. Most P2E games are set up on pure ponzinomics, which gives them a finite lifespan before they are not "worth" playing any more.

Illuvium, on the other hand, has a sustainable tokenomics model, and the team's action so far indicate they are in it for the long haul. There will be competitors eventually, but lots of the games in dev and currently available are a step down.

Definitely, there will be a LOT of games, but they need to set up sustainable models if they wanna last longer than 3-9 months. They also need to make a strong case for WHY they are blockchain games.
