I don't understand where this mention of delay coming from. I just listened to the entire interview.
The previous rollout road map was presented as ideas - not concrete decisions.
Now that we're further in development we're rehashing the rollout discussions and presenting the viable options to the community so that we can make this decision together as a DAO.
We're simply talking about the release schedule and providing transparent information to the community to empower the discussion.
All of the game development is happening the same on the backend without any delay.

I just updated the article a little bit, because I made it seem like you could make a burner wallet and then buy lands from your main wallet onto your burner IMX wallet address. I hope you understand that your funds will need to be on the wallet that is connected to IMX (and in the future to the Illuvidex as well)

I have tried to make that as clear as possible now. When you want to mint the land, you will need the funds on your metamask wallet that is connected to IMX, and right before the landsale, you'll have to connect that wallet to the Illuvidex as well.

The 282 plots will be released every hour, once they are released the price will decrease by 2.5% per minute until the end of 2 hours, the idea is that people don't buy in the beginning (because the prices are more expensive) and wait until a fair price, but if they think the price is fair right after the release, nothing prevents them from trying to buy the same plot (which generates higher gas) but the decreasing auction is done precisely to avoid FOMO,.

The IlluviDEX will be where you are purchasing and each plot can be individually selected on the Interactive map the team has developed, so you'll pick the exact location of it. And you can even save your favorite land plots beforehand (if you browse the IlluviDEX before the sale)... likely making it easier to cycle through the land plots you are interested in.

And yeah, once a land plot has been purchased, I assume it will no longer be selectable on the map and will not appear in the listings any longer.
