Almost everything is random. You can't select what you wanna scan. your scanner scans the region and picks or doesn't pick something up. Ofc Higher Tiers might have more chances of picking stufff afaik.

Chance to get a blueprint is random and low and if you dont find one then the research and cost is gone

Since I started playing the beta, DUALEPH it's my favourite in terms of mechanics/movements/colors, of course I love the Rhamphyre because it's "massive", but I was a "Blastoise guy", so I tend to like more water creatures (Dualeph is Steam: Water + Fire, which makes it also more useful at tactical level). 💯

June 2nd is the date set for the first Land Sale. Illuvium: Zero is a mobile mini-game that will interact with the main game. Illuvium: Zero is a building game staged on a piece of land. Paid land will produce Fuel ERC20 tokens and Blueprints, interacting with the main game. There are 100k plots of land in total, and the first land sale will offer 20k of these plots for sale in a dutch auction format. We delete all progress when Illuvium: Overworld launches. The sale lasts for 2 hours, in which the price decays to 4.79% of its starting value.
So when the third sale starts, the first ends. the fourth sale starts when the second ends. etc.

So it's almost a 40% discount, but very risky, because the pool is unofficial and not endorsed in anyway by the team.

Keep in mind sILV2 is constantly getting downwards pressure from whales getting their rewards as sILV2.

You can do 2 things:

1. get sILV2 immediatelly.
2. get ILV, which is locked for 1 year.

So if sILV2 approaches the price of ILV, there is no need to wait for a year and people just sell it.

In the whole illuvium ecosystems sILV2 == ILV. It's just a way to get your rewards earlier, but you have to use them ingame for their full price. Otherwise open markets trades sILV2 way lower, than ILV.

A big difference is that you cannot stake sILV2, only ILV is stakable.

You will be able to catch a couple out of the "pack" that you encounter. So if you are lucky and find that shiny illuvial and sell it, or find one with perfect Individual values (Yes pretty similar to Pokemon there), you will also be able to make a return by playing.

in an earlier leak we saw that it would take 1 hour to harvest elements and 12 hours for fuel. I expect the production "boost" to affect the amount of resources you find rather than the speed at which you dig up the resources. First revdis will come from land sale and illuvatar sale, after that revdis will come from people playing the game. Between illuvatar sale and game launch, there wont be revdis since there is no revenue

When the main game is operational, as well as all the other revenue generating streams, there will be a constant influx of revenue. This makes these decisions much more difficult which means rules will need to be set, so they know who to pay. Since it has never been done before, I would think it may need to be adjusted as we move through it. Personally, I think there should be a minimum staking time to qualify for RevDis.

I could see two sides of a story here. For long term holders, a large whale could come in stake and immediately reduce everyone's RevDis share. Sure they are locked for a month minimum but if the RevDis ends up being juicy, that isn't a concern. On the other hand, a minimum time limit to receive RevDis could be discouraging to newcomers looking to invest. Personally, I feel there should be a minimum stake period for receiving RevDis (an adjustment period if you will, for those already staking when the floodgates open).

The anti scam bots here are actually really good, but DMs are the one place where scammers still sneak through. If you have feedback on how you think things could be improved, I'm sure the team would like to hear about it in #814313819185741845 . As far as I can tell, there's no way to stop someone from joining a server and firing off a few quick messages before they are banned. Hence, the advice to disable DMs for this server. They are always scams.

A trick would be to limit the invitations for this server to certain roles, so that only a certain group of people can invite. Have you sorted out a lot of bots with the simplest method? There's a link to the Illuvium Discord on the website, limiting invitation perms wouldn't do anything if the Discord is freely accessible to the public.

A LOT of bots get banned every day with absolutely no user interaction. The ones DMing people are likely sub-1% of the total that join the Discord daily. I'm counting something on the order of 20-40 bots/min being removed from the server.

Regardless, I'm not the right person to talk to, I'm not involved in automating bot removals. #814313819185741845 is the right place to post if you think there's something that could be done differently.

I do think a standardized process would be the best without dependency on how much revenue is actually generated. It would also provide more transparency for new investors coming in as rev dis will be one of (if not THE) biggest reason to invest in ILV
