BTW, from time to time, the 7 regions should get a little tweak here and there (or massive ones), according to the events that happen in the world (story), like the introduction of a new set of illuvials. Or else they might become a little boring (despide how beautiful and rich they are.... traveling 1000 times to the same place will eventually make us tired). -- I guess like the cataclysm event in World of Warcraft, for example.

Id say, when a new day starts, like a 7.5 because it just is nice to be stumped at a later wave and feel your progression in becoming better. (First i couldnt beat 15 when i tried for hours, now my first run is usually till 15-20.)
Then when you die at wave 15 and have to start over just to die at 15 again and again, the fun drops to like a 5.5.
So i play like 3 games a day to see how far i can get before becoming bored of replaying over and over.
But it is the beta and it actually isnt even supposed to be there to be fun only to get the bugs out xD so incredible that it already is fun!

The only security issue in any way related to staking was that the old sILV token minting contract was hacked and someone was minting more than should have been possible. The contracts have since been very thoroughly upgraded and audited. And the new sILV2 token is live.

If you're running an absolute potato rig you might not be able to get in (like, if your rig couldn't run the game), but otherwise there are no requirements. The last few rounds of beta access have gone to Rangers in Discord (role for being reasonably active without spamming), but I'm not sure if that's how access will be given long term.

Right now, we have access to Survival Mode (one of quite a few modes in Illuvium).

There's no in-game yield on right now, it's just beta for testing and bug fixes etc.

No firm date has been given, the current plan AFAIK is for Survival Mode to go public with yield enabled in Q2 (read: end of Q2), but watch #📣〕announcements for updates on that front.

Being a game, it's certainly possible that there could be delays on that timeline. The team will give a firm date when they are 100% sure they can get the product they want out by that date.

You can do it one of two ways. You either stake in the ILV pool or the SLP pool. The rates are laid out on the site and they do decrease with time. On top of that there are revenue distributions that will be paid out on staked ILV.

To add to Jag's answer - "Visiting" land doesn't really make a ton of sense. You own your land, you produce stuff on it, and there's absolutely no reason for someone to come "visit" or "enter". TBH I'm not entirely sure that someone can even view your development on your plot, unless you choose to give them access through the rental system.
