Quick thoughts after 20 hours of testing beta:
It's a small bit buggy as expected for a beta but really solid gameplay and mechanics. The game engine is amazing. I've submitted a handful of bugs & crash reports - to be expected at this stage. Addicating gameplay and very replayable once you get past the first very easy waves.
Fun to zoom in on things for a closer look. Looks so good.

For those wondering about graphics cards, I've tested a geforce 1650 at mid graphics (which still looks really good). It actually runs it on higher graphics but the laptop gets too hot.

I have faith that people with even lower graphics cards will be able to play the game and enjoy it. I don't think it's fully optimized yet, but their goal of geforce 950 seems pretty realistic sooner than later.

For those curious at least part of the reason why beta has stages and scales up.
Even expanding to accept tickets from 500+ people is an effort. Then resolving priority ones and putting the rest aside for QOL for later. Expanding beta means they are sorting through a truly massive amount of data by the end of it. And tbh no need for 100000 writing the same obvious bug/crash reports when 500- 1000 will do a good job already and submitting sufficient data. Then when it's improved a significant amount, doing something like inviting the entire discord make sense since the number of tickets per user would be drastically less than beta waves 1 or 2.

You should definitely check out some gameplay, people are actively streaming in Discord right now, a few channels down. Read through the #❓〕faq as well to get more familiar with the project. The reality is, crypto moves fast, and UE4 was available when development started, so the team made a call to develop with it. There are a number of different hotkeys & controls I've discovered so far:

Camera & Zoom:

• WASDQE controls camera and zoom (A&D do a nice side to side camera strafe, Q&E moves up and down)
• Arrow keys work same as WASD
• Hold right click with mouse to move around camera
• Mouse wheel zooms
• Space bar to reset zoom to default and Illuvial deck filters
• 1, 2 or 3 number keys for default camera views

Game hotkeys & commands

• Hover over afinity / class / Illuvial cards in deck to see more info
• Right click an Illuvial on the board to view its stats / affinity, etc
• Shift + Right click on ranger to change weapon / gear
• Shift + H Hide/unhide health bars
• Shift + U hide/unhide UI
• Click on "Wave" at top to see upcoming wave

• B for opening bug report menu
• Alt + Enter = toggle full screen / windowed mode
