Illuvials will be captured in game. Before public launch, the only thing minted will be Land (for Illuvium: Zero), and Illuvitars (which are modular profile pictures). No in-game power will be sold, you get everything through gameplay. There will be an in-game marketplace where you can buy Illuvials etc. off other players.

RE: Beta - Yeah, some people will be picked for beta testing, and that will likely ramp up over time for stress testing etc.

you'll find my point on "security" risk in IMX Whitepaper:

This means you are trusting your NFT to IMX, it is NOT written into L1 (ethereum blockchain) until it is withdrawn

This is why there is no interoperability between different L2 platforms, because each create their own network

2 Claim sIlv-2 - this has no vesting period

So far, it has not been leaked. I believe the focus is really on the Illuvials. But, the environment artwork is insane and really, you can spend hours just roaming if that's your interest.

The free to play area consists of 7 areas which we can roam freely.

Illuvium is built as a Single Player game like Witcher Mass effect Dragon Age ( personally i think that is awesome myself ) With 2 PVP arenas which are the only place you will see other players when the game launches.

I love single player games so happy that for at least for a while the only other plyers you'll see are in pvp mode.

A MMO/ Co-op may a project in the future . Aaron has mentioned they want to separate the overworld and autobattler and make them 2 separate games . the over world could have co- op or multiplayer but that is probably sometime in the future

However The next year or two will probably be spend on Illuvium/ #🎮〕illuvium-zero mobile mini game/ and possibly a **Mobile Version of Illuvium **sometime in 23 but nothing about that has been official announced

@inner topaz stated on multipe occasions that land will stand at around 5% of game revenue.
If Illuvium will generate 10M $ every month (lets take it as example as it is a fair figure), that means that land owner do 5%, 500,000$ .
This means that if 20,000 lands are out there now, an average per land would be 25$ per month.
Sounds awfully low.
Am I missing something?

Take an example with Axie, which best month peaked at around 100M$ per month.
On 100,000 land plots, you are looking at- 5% of revenue (5M$ / 100,000 = 50$ per land), I don’t see how this is worthwhile, even if the game generates more than the above numbers.
Some plots like T4 are gonna get sold for a lot of money.

Difficult to disagree as we have no numbers to go on. There hasn't been a game like illuvium for us to compare to.

All I know is land is for the entire illuvium universe not just this first game. This is significant and offers a potential for a decent return on investment.

There's a weird disconnect going on.

NFT land with no actual earning utility is valued... somehow. Community sentiment about a project, future speculation about use cases, and the desire to own something, even if that thing doesn't do anything.

Illuvium land has earning utility, and so people are treating the value of land as ONLY the earning potential of that land.

You have missed Blueprints in your equation, but those will be sporadic earning and hard to quantify. There exists the potential for future use cases as well.

But I don't think you're wrong. If you're looking for a safe, reliable way to earn on an investment, most countries have government bonds you can buy. Land is definitely towards the higher end of the risk spectrum, and might not be a suitable investment for everybody.

With the auction format, for most people, there will be a price at which land is worthwhile to buy. I'd recommend waiting for that price, or not purchasing a plot. That's a core feature of how the auction works.

People are thinking they wound get like 20/30/40/50% APY on a land, but that’s obviously not the case.

I've done said calculations, and you're correct, you're not going to get a guaranteed triple digit APY from land earnings from Fuel alone, unless Illuvium immediately starts pulling in more revenue (Fuel revenue specifically) than even the moonbois predict. But Blueprints could be extremely lucrative, skins are a main revenue source for many, many games.

It is speculative, and if that's not your jam, I'd avoid purchasing a plot unless the price has declined substantially from the starting price.
