No, you swap to get equal amounts of ILV and ETH, then you take those and put them in the liquidity pool on Sushi Swap to get the SLP token, then you head to the Illuvium staking site to stake it. One month minimum, but one year to get the full earning potential. You definitely want to spend some time in #🥩〕staking doing some research and checking the pinned info and perhaps watch some videos from our awesome #🎨〕community-content folks like Vetemor and Scoriox to name a few. Revenue distribution or RevDis is what you really want to look into. That's the key imo.

But personal preference comes into it as well. E.g. some people love playing 1v1 StarCraft. And others find it extremely stressful, but love 2v2 or 4v4 battles etc.

TFT is similar, the 8v8 means you feel less likely to come last (maybe top 3 still feels like a win, still climbing). Where in a 1v1 there is only 1 winner and 1 loser. Different psychology entering those matches.

Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:

• When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
• You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
• If you claim sILV you have it unlocked right away (sILV is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
• If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
• New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.

The land will be transferrable through all game titles, Over a long enough period of time even a T1 will pay for itself. It is unclear how much "passive" income you will earn with each tier or if it will even be financially viable. T3-4 Currently lacks utility or a high enough earning function compared to the lower tier lands to qualify for it's current projected price. They need to implement something additional imo and many others to make up for that gap.

I think it would be neat to have a small mini dungeon that is randomly generated every day that give additional resources, blueprints, ect that you fight waves maybe up to like 5 waves and it gives you rewards based on progress and RNG.

Back in the day it seemed you were better off buying multiple tier 1 lands than a tier 3 or 4 right? Surely they have to fix that. It’s definitely going to be hard to price. Can’t have it so it’s so highly priced you never get a return. Also I am generally for the price increase but this was back when the price of ILV was closer to 2k than it was 1k. So the price of sILV was also high and could have bought all the land. At current prices i haven’t done the math to work out what the ratio would be. But it’s something to keep in mind

Illuvium has a free to play option, with full access to the game, but you can only capture Tier 0 Illuvials.

And will take a long time to level them up enough to eventually capture a Tier 1-5 Illuvial. To capture those you need to pay a travel cost of (predicted: $3-10) to visit the regions and have T1+ spawn instead of TO.
