Thanks for the information. In summary. 1- Illuvium reimburse only part of the loss they caused 2- The reimbursement period (only part of the losses) is short which prevents them from reimbursing a large part of their client. In short, I will withdraw from this project directed by people who do not take their responsibilities to avoid futur inconvenience and to avoid encouraging them. I will rather use this money to invest it in a serious project. Thanks to everybody who help with clarifications. I wish that you will not have to pay again for Illuvium plan changes and errors in the futur !

And before anyone accuses me of being some whale that thinks complaining about gas is a peasant problem, I had to put together money from the whole family in order to invest enough that the Gas is worth it, even then, i only claimed once before staking v2, simply because ETH gas is too expensive.

Planning around gas right now is each investor's responsibility, at least until the rumored ETH merge to PoS when as far as i heard, Gas should become less insane.
Being an investor, especially in a DAO is not like being a client at a Wendy's or something where you can call the manager to complain about this or that, and that you deserve reimbursement.

We get a lot of people who are new to crypto here as well - A lot of the time people just don't understand how transactions work or that they aren't paying gas fees Illuvium to Upgrade a stake, stuff like that. The idea of being 100% responsible for your own transactions isn't exactly common IRL, there are so many safety nets. Having a language barrier can make understanding stuff like that harder. We have some pretty awesome language mods here who help translate documentation from English to other languages though, so that helps.

I guess all I'm saying is that we should be patient as a community and help people learn. Everyone was new at some point.

Honestly I know this might be an unpopular opinion among our community but I think letting him host would be great for marketing.

Currently, we post it on illuvium insider which is on Illuvium channel.
His channel covers a lot more games and have way different reach.

It makes way more sense for marketing to get him to do it on his channel as it'll increase the chances of bringing people into our community instead of just showcasing it on our channel to those already subscribed.

This weeks Illuvuim Insider could very easily be some tutorials with Aaron and let On Chain Gaming host the big wager battle!

To me, that seems like the biggest brain marketing approach.

I still think that OCG would not be fit to host the bet.
My reasoning being: He has diversified too much and thus is not able to give in-depth commentatorship on the gameplay. Andrew in his last video where he hosted the bet had that issue. He then said that he would have to get familiar with the names of the illuvials and the mechanics to give more relevant information. I bet he has done just that in the last two weeks and is now ready to give valuable feedback on the moves of the two. I have however not seen OCG in the chat, let alone seen them discuss any affinity strategies and classes. I doubt Jake knows his way around the illuvials and strategies in-game.

For this reason I would not want to put him in an awkward position where Andrew would take the wheel and give all the valuable information. 🙂

We have everything setup for HD streams, but their internet was garbage. Not a lack of being prepared, just their feed from AUS being terrible. We would never use anything but a direct HD feed for official events. Zoom is not a professional platform for marketing and streaming events.
