March and April are expected to be a bit packed with V2 Staking going live hopefully next week based on some comments from the team.

Then Illuvium: Zero Land Sale around 2 weeks after V2 staking is live which means the Illuvium: Zero Alpha would be live for those who have land.

Then Illuvitar sales.

And of course, open beta launch of Illuvium expected in Q2 at some point.

Hey, I’m curious on everyone’s thoughts on this…. If there are a set 150 or so illuvials… and some are harder to get…. That makes them rare and pricey and all… but it’s not the same as collecting something that is 1 out of 20 or 1 out of 5… even the rarest of the rare, won’t be very rare… since there’s only 150 variations. Or else the rest of the 500,000 people playing would only have a pool of 100 or so. if they had randomly generated traits, then you could have hundreds or thousands of variations making each variation rare and valuable. I’m concerned we will end up with 20,000 people with the rarest sets and therefore there won’t be much of a market for rare illuvials. To me it makes more sense to have random generated traits and I don’t see how the 150 exactly the same illuvials will have the diversity needed to drive interest and a market for people seeking rarity…. Thoughts?

There are 4 ways of traveling.
Likely but unconfirmed:
1 = F2P T0
2 = T1
3 = T2-T3
4 = T4-T5
Travelling fees go up the higher you plan to go. So 2 costs something, while 3 is pricey and 4 is like collectors edition fees.

Obviously higher tiers would also give you lower ranked illuvials to make the higher tiered more rare and increase the difficulty of countering the wide variety of enemies. (I mean they barely have 150 illuvials and if you only encounter T5s you would find the same set of 4 Illuvials each time no? :))

You buy it on the marketplace (a balancer pool with Eth) or produce it on a plot of land, then sell it, and then buy it again. Possibly it goes into your wallet and you wont have to sell/buy it while it transfers over right away from your land to your main-game character

Yes so lands produce Fuel. Which you can teleport to the main game.
Then on the main game you use the fuel and load up your car with it to travel to a region.
Note that you need a true NFT land to earn actual fuel. The free to play version of the land-game will not be linked up to the main game in any way.

Yes and sadly the target dates never get fulfilled. Starting to get really annoying with staking v2 , staking has been deactivated for nearly 2 months now, that's way too much time to be comfortable with the current state of staking. Unlock of VC and team tokens will start soon and we can't even claim our rewards and keep getting dates that are never fulfilled. Would be better to name a date that is 90+% certain than delivering new dates each week without fulfilling them

June is 3 months away. Long way off is subjective. If you’re in the protocol for the long haul the price shouldn’t make a difference. Of course it can go lower. The lowest point that I remember was $30. I’m sure that it could go lower than that. No one knows what’s going to happen. If you’re long term, then you’re believing in the project and believe that it has more of chance of upside than down. You have to figure out what’s in your best interest. If you’re holding long term, just sit back and enjoy the ride. If not…do what you need to do.

As long as the onboarding is decent most of Axie will swap over and hundreds of thousands of new players interested in the actual gameplay will join ILV.
