They overhauled the sILV contract to create sILV2 and then had multiple audits done, both within the team and outside of the team.

Auditors can (and should) take time when going over the contracts to ensure an exploit doesn't happen again.

I’d be looking at market caps to see if it’s too late. ILV fully diluted is 5.7B. Compare that with other gaming studios out there, and consider what they do in revenue, take what axie is doing for revenue.

Ask yourself is it possible that ILV could do similar? And if it does, what does that mean?

do some research and come to your own conclusions. I personally don’t think it’s too late but it’s completely up to you if you agree and disagree and the only way to do that is to understand the field and come to a conclusion yourself!

The thing is that what we are building is only a very small idea. Just an auto battler and a 3rd person shooter.

The complexity comes in making it good. Things like having fully data driven units for example. That is really really hard. We have 40 units in the game right now, maybe a few more. And the art for about 100 more nearly done. However, before they get done we will be able to implement those 100 units (and another 60 or so) in a few weeks because putting them in the sim is as simple as filling out the spreadsheet.

So we are nearly at the point of testing everything. Artwork is going pretty well, so even though many units were not meant to be available at launch, because we have delayed launch, there will be more available. (Probably not all though, but many more). This is actually good for the game.

Another thing that is really hard is proper determinism. You have no idea how many challenges need to be solved to make sure that every time you run the battle it is identical (technically the visuals will not be identical, but that's ok). This allows the server to just spit out an answer and then let your computer just do the same thing. Very little data is sent back and forth.

An Illuvial is a thing that exists in the Illuvium Universe. A 'unit' is short for a 'Combat Unit' which is an AI agent in the Arena. It can be a Ranger Combat Unit, an Illuvial Combat Unit, or a Spawned Combat Unit. Either way they always resolve down to the same thing: A Combat Unit.

Rhamphyre doesn't receive Invulnerable. It received Untargetable. So it still gets damaged. However, yes, the other units keep a reference to how long Rhamphyre will be untargetable so that they can calculate if it is better to wait, or better to move to another target.

No. The move to hex made this a lot easier. There were two recent problems that were very minor and solved. We believe it is fully deterministic now. I can't imagine there is anything we are missing but we will still playtest. The most likely solution for mismatch is in those rare (probably never) cases the server will just send the full battle file to the client/s.

It's not that easy. If you scan (in my analogy this is discarding, because you're losing energy) then you can find out what are the most valuable things in the region. So you may want to scan. Or maybe you just go ham? Up to you.

Both equally require some love. But this was always going to be the case. The beauty is that it's really easy to change now. We just have to make sure to attempt to keep the same VFX where possible.

You gain hyper with both, as long as you counter some of the enemies. Currently, we don't subtract hyper if you get countered, but you don't gain it either. So overall your units will go up slow. And the enemy will go fast. Once they get hyperactive they are a lot stronger. So you're waiting for the boost to kick in.

I've also got some plans for post public launch. Instead of just getting some stats and effects, I want to literally change the attack and omega for hyperactives.

Today I have had my sILV and ILV tokens unstakes from a 6 month period and have been stolen by a hacker... is there ANY way I can act on this, I can see the piece of shit swapping my ILV and sILV out on sushi swap and transferring them to his account..

it has only been 2 hours since the transfer, if anyone know anything about this PLEASE share your knowledge with me

So if u just gave him permission you should be able to atleast save them.

Nah audits are necessary they’re just hard to book. But I do think 2 months is a pretty massive delay to patch an exploit. Something must have fell through the cracks is my guess

I don't really think it matters what ILV is at when we get our sILV back. V2 will also be released and then the mc will likely head back up. Plus that'll be followed shortly by the land sale and Illuvitars, and then Open Beta not too far behind, and at that point RevDis will already be functioning a little. All that will likely drive the value of ILV back up.

6k daily ILV unlocked says otherwise imho. Considering barely 3k of ILV gets traded on sushiswap (most of which are arb bots). So any real selling can really shift the pool. That’s just my educated guess though. The timing of it all is just unfortunate I think

I just noticed in the announcements that there was a hack. I do not see my coins in my wallet - however, when I connect to the app I see that there are some funds there. Is this correct? And... has the v2 staking been updated yet? It shows that I can stake again. Not really tbh. New sILV token was supposed to come out last week but never ended up happening. The new token and Staking V2 are supposed to come out in a matter of days theoretically, but afaik, the contracts are still in audit so no guarantees there.
