ILV - this token is a governance token. It can be used to stake, and give you the right to vote for the DAO council.

ETH - a traditional crypto currency which can be used inside the game in order to buy Illuvials, resources, and all Illuvidex transactions.

sILV - An in-game token which is normally earned as a reward for staking ILV and can be used for other in-game payments.

ILV is not needed for gameplay in any way. Instead it has three main functions:

Governance:

They have funding for about 2.5 more years at their current size of around 200 staff that came from the seed funding round. Additional money will come from revdis once the DAO starts generating revenue in about 3 weeks.

It was mentioned in a recent interview with Kieran. They raised over $40 million between preseed, seed, and the balancer sale so that should be enough to keep them going for a while.

hi, I have a big bag of ILV and did a lot of research in the game, but i can not seem to understand that everytime people are mentioning "catching illuvials", they are talking about 100 illuvials. If hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of players are going to play this game, don't we need thousands and thousands of these illuvials running around to be captured? Or am I missing something?

I believe it also depends on how much 'energy' you have. You use energy to do almost anything in a run, so you would need enough to attempt to capture each illuvial with a shard. Maybe you would run into situations where you have just defeated 5 illuvials in combat, and have 50 shards, but only have enough energy to try and capture 2 of them?

When you encounter an illuvial you will have to play the auto battler against it thus it is PvE.

The AI that is added in the closed beta will be your training grounds where you play the auto battler against an AI.

Leadership needs to give us accurate/not "hopeful" timeframes when making announcements on future developments. Hopefulness, not realistic, timeframes leads to lowered confidence in team leadership and overall confidence in a project.

You can make as many different deposits as you want but they all go into the same reward pool. With staking V2 next week you might be able to claim partial amounts but im not 100% sure.
