Its a new staking contract that will replace the V1 contract. It has some upgrades, mainly integration for revdis. All you have to do is approve a transaction to upgrade when the contract goes live and you will be good to go.

20k parcels of land, 195k survivors on this discord, assuming all of them want to buy land (not gunna happen) they will need to have sufficent liquid assets to do so.
With a starting price of 20ETH for T4 and 0.5ETH for T1 and 2% loss each minute over 2 hours, the current floor is 1.77ETH for a T4 and 0.044ETH for T1
At todays value thats $4326 for T4 and $107 for T1 minimum.
The top boyz in here (Aaron) has said in #🎮〕illuvium-zero when I raised this there, that the IZ land sale is fund raising only and is not considering ROI for those who purchase land and this is only to fund the DAO and game development.
Therefore the land is pretty much worthless.
Anyone with $4k to throw into high risk speculative assets should be looking at resale value or ROI.
By limiting the sale value like this we are artifically pushing the price up, that might be good in the short term for the DAO, IF they all sell, but if they dont then when that floor is removed and land can be sold on the open market the price will fall off a cliff.
That wont affect the DAO but it will seriously burn the land owners, 20K burned land owners is a force to be reconed with, thats 10% of the total following and can spread more than enough FUD to ruin us all.
We should let the free market decide, if we are selling land for $1 after a however long auction and it going to the DAO its $1 we wouldnt have if the auction closed prematurely. Furthermore allowing prices to rise organically is far more sustainable and benefical to the land owners.
Im not against raising the starting prices, but the 2% discount per minute should be allowed to run its course.

Also, I know this is pretty farfetched, but when I registered for private beta in my experience section I noted that I could potentially privately stream if permitted to gather any bugs or issues between streaming and the game itself. Little did I know.... I didn't read the Q&A, and it specifically says no streaming is allowed. Even though the chances of getting selected is slim, it would ease my mind if I knew I wasn't automatically disqualified cause I will of course follow all NDAs and sign. 😅

• sell farmed materials
• sell crafted items
• play the marketplace (buy low, sell high)

BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy, a bit of money needs to be invested. A full cycle of travelling, curing shards, etc. is currently estimated to be around $50 (this can still change).

from what i gathered its a new contract and before a certain block everyone will be reimbursed

the old sILV will turn into new sILV v2, when the transfer happens. However, if you bought after a certain point the tokens are ineligible for updating. I think each person also has to actively do it when we are given the green light. There's a 2 week transfer process that will happen some time in the future

Vault Distributions:
When you stake ILV, you share in Illuvium's success and earn a passive income of additional ILV, funded through in-game purchases and fees. Vault distributions will only be available from sales and once the game and Illuvidex are launched.
