If by greed you mean wanting to generate value for tokenholders instead of NFT flippers, then i would say that greed is an excellent thing. The only people who want cheap land are those who arent invested in the project for the long term.

I have to agree with you in every single point. And do not forget that GoG minting was delayed like a month or so due to IMX issues... And it was when the IMX market was without almost zero games (Gods unchained the most important at that time), so imagine once Illuvium is launched with all the games they have now at the same time.

Also their official market place is not great imo. I prefer Tokentrove, more organised. And I find it difficult to follow the transactions, since they are in L2 you don't have etherscan or equivalent. You just know that the transaction was made "x" hours ago

I don't want this to sound like a non justified complain, I trust their team and they are pioneers, but lot of improvements yet to arrive

Pretty sure the plan is to open up polemos university to everyone. That is the path to scholarships. It's one of the ways that Polemos wants to promote gamefi amongst the general populace. My brain is foggy since it's morning and it was a while ago when I read the details on this. I suggest checking out the whitepaper on the website since it explains a lot.

Scholarships are planned to work as a large staking pool and you don't choose who is specifically lent to. It's all done by the protocol. I.e. NFT owners lend to the pool and those that complete polemos university content can rent from the pool. Not limited to guilds or relationships. In a sense, it is very different than the old manager style.

We can't post the entire whitepaper here. The only things that aren't discussed openly there are about things in development that aren't ready yet. You can join and ask as many questions as you want there. I believe if you had the full knowledge you would have a different opinion.

The levels of custom coding to keep the frostbite engine going is almost dumbfounding why they waste so much money trying to keep rolling out a gaming engine that is like nearing its 14 and soon to be like 15th year. I don't want to think about how much redundant coding happens. If your wondering FrostBite was originally intended for just FPS games, which is why recent games of late have had really weird bugs make it in newer games like Mass Effect Andromeda and Madden NFL 21. (Ranging from arms merging into chairs to houses showing up on football fields.)
