People need to understand two things:

1. The reasons why the ethereum network has value and is used and trusted to handle the most high value transactions

2. That the ethereum network is still reaching its final state. Good things take time. Within 12 months, we will all know and interact with ethereum via its layer twos. The mainnet will mostly be used by protocols, and our experience as human users will be much cheaper and fairly seamless as we use the layers on top.

Fees are currently so high on mainnet only because the network is deemed to be so useful and block space is so in demand, and the layer twos are just getting rolled out still.

Most other layer one blockchains are making compromises on security and decentralisation to achieve either speed, cheap transaction fees, or both. That's going to be fine for low value stuff - maybe low value gaming for example - in future. But the final settlement layer that is truly deemed to be safe, for high value, will be ethereum.

Also, sILV is not a token that is officially sold in the market. you can officially get it through staking ILV and claim as rewards. Unofficially, you can buy from Uniswap, but sILV sold on open market is provided by random ppl who needed to have access to fast liquidity as their ILVs are locked. Now they sell it cheaper to be enough of an incentive for ppl to interact with it and buy from them. If it had the same value as ILV, then no one would buy it cuz why would they give up on the compounding effect of ILV and buy sILV that has no use case? (that's not question though )

Having said that. please trade at you own discretion as sILV pool is not genuine and not supported by ILV team in any way.

Revenue Distribution
Land owners will have the opportunity to earn revenue from players in the main game through novel use of a Balancer multi token Weighted Pool.

They will do so by swapping fuels they generate in game for ETH. On the other side, players in Illuvium will swap ETH* for fuel, which is used to complete all transactions in the game except for IlluviDEX trading between players.

The target will be for land owners to be able to earn approximately 5% of the total revenue generated from in game purchases in Illuvium. This is achieved by the Illuvium DAO swapping 19 fuel for every 1 fuel swapped by players of Illuvium: Zero.

While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.

My wife used to run tournaments at a Books-a-Million store in the 90's and 00's, and she's sold over 20,000 Pokemon cards on eBay. The kids grew up with that. Magic: The Gathering was my game of choice, but if you know much about either of those, the NFT gaming space is incredibly exciting. You can use an Ethereum wallet, but it will be a trick to fund it. Once you have it funded, you can trade for $ILV or even $sILV on Uniswap. However, this is very risky. Several folks got scammed the other day by connecting their Ethereum wallet to a bogus Illuvium site. You can look up how to do all the steps on YouTube, but just be advised that it is risky and comes with a lot of responsibility in managing your passwords and keys for security

It was highly sophisticated. I sell my VeVe NFT gems profits too buyers thru a verified escrow service. The scammers made an EXACT DUPLICATE chat group, even down to the owner and admins profiles. There’s slight nuances I knew better to look for, such as number of members was off by a few thousand. Biggest issue was telegram update changed their defaults that let anybody add you to groups, so mid transaction, there popped up TWO identical groups. I assumed it was a glitch , both were pinging me, one was the legit, the other was the ruse, And I fell for the con.
