I think the IIP is pretty well drafted and DAO would vote okay with it but only the starting price is tricky. We try to set the price low enough so ppl don't FOMO and buy it too expensive, but high enough so it doesn't become a gas war. Anytime before the auction, DAO can vote to change the price with the opinion shared by the community.

Illuvium: Zero is a mobile mini-game that will interact with the main game. Illuvium: Zero will be a base building game which will be staged on a piece of land. Paid land will produce Fuel ERC20 tokens and Blueprints which can interact with the main game. There will be 100k plots of paid land in total, and the first land sale will offer 20k of these plots for sale in a dutch auction format. one of them all u need is the baby form of an illuvial and it can be used as max fusion (evolution) and all stats normallized

2. you can claim it immediately at any time from the Rewards section of your staking dashboard. Just select to claim as sILV

And you will get the same amount of sILV as ILV when claimed. But the value of sILV will be equal the value of ILV once used in game or for land auction

An announcement should come early January to confirm starting prices etc.
Remember it is a Dutch Auction - prices DECREASE over time. So Starting price is the absolute max you could pay, and normally starts 2x what the price is expected to be

Without the game being out, that is hard to know.

Also it is not so much about grinding, there is skill involved.

You will want to catch the higher tier/harder Illuvials, because they will be worth more when you sell them.
But they will also be harder to defeat, and you will need to improve your team and skill to be able to defeat them to be given chance to catch them with Shard

One gameplay loop will cost around 30-50 USD. So if you want to enter the play-to-earn phase in a meaningful way you will have to invest.

As a free-to-play player you only have the ability to sell the t0 Illuvials, which at the start might be okay for those who didn't want to grind their t0's to have a chance at beating t1 Illuvials in the paid zones.

There may also be other avenues of earning, like survival mode.

So it depends on what team you managed to catch in the Free tier, that will determine what level Illuvials you can go after.
Also what level are your shards. Higher level, higher cost, higher chance etc

Some people suggested to reduce the price, but also reduce energy. Like if you can get 8 illuvials with 50$, maybe make it 2illuvials for 12.50$. It is a better starting point for some. And you can sell the illuvials to restart the loop
