If you want to experience full potential of the game, high end pc would be good but a normal 1060ti graphic card would work as well..atleast thats what has been floating around as of now.

I’m sure ill get tons of crap, but this project seems to be very vague on actual gameplay details. All we’ve seen is “leaked” screenshots and a mostly cinematic “gameplay” trailer. I have a bad feeling they are throwing together a watered down mobile game to buy themselves time, and justify their token unlocks in early next year. I think there's SO much skepticism because all other crypto games suck essentially, with Axie somehow being the best. Don’t worry when it’s used in the game or for land sale it will be counted at the value of ILV. So it’s just a discount.

The value of sILV in the game - and for possible sales where sILV is allowed - will be equal to the value of ILV.

While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.

I still dont understand the bonding curve. Is it that all illuvials will become harder and harder to catch as the time progresses and people catch more of all illuvials? Or do they become harder to catch relative to eachother and return back to a lower state if there is no interest in them relative to the ones with high interest?

The first one. Each illuvial captured of a specific type makes it a certain percentage harder to capture for the next player.

with something new and original like Illuvium there are brand new problems to solve, coupled with complexity of melding code, art, storyline, blockchain, etc

You pay for paid travel cycles. It's important to understand what that means though - You can do free travel cycles to capture T0 Illuvials etc.

You can choose to do paid travel cycles to capture higher tier Illuvials. Higher tier travel will be more expensive, but also allow you to capture higher tier Illuvials and gather higher tier resources.

You don't pay to travel to a zone and then stay there permanently or something though. At the end of your travel cycle, you'll leave the area you travelled to and return to the hub.

It's not so much about the region as it is about the Tier of travel you engage in. The free travel cycle won't let you capture T1+ Illuvials. However, you can potentially sell T0 Illuvials for ETH and use that ETH to engage in paid travel cycles.
