I think the trailer was an awesome and visually appealing view of game play and in game graphics.

I know there hardcore will people who think that the only true gameplay showcase is one where it looks like a steamer is playing it and you can see everything ( ui actions etc )you would see in that perspective.

Personally I think what they did is a better showcase of the in game graphics and gameplay sample in a more exciting and innovative way. If they reduced it to a streamer type video it would not have been as epic.

Honestly, I don't know anything about Kira, or any previous drama with Kira: so, I remain impartial.

I do agree, this team has been very transparent, the leaked art is beautiful, and the trailers are gorgeous. But, nobody has played the game. This is important because the investment has been significant.
Half the people in this discord(including myself), have invested thousands of dollars, hoping the project is (just) good because participation (and success) is a win for the crypto space as a whole! So, we're here every day looking for leaks, gameplay demos, progress reports, and information.
But, the other half, is here only looking to profit(which is fine!); but today, their investment is solely based on price action, not gameplay or evidence of a successful product. For many of these investors, leaks are simply leveraged to pump price action. Four months from now, the game could flop and they would not care.. In this context, leaks and trailers are leveraged, because we can't play or review the game!
This is fine for (lets say)Mario World XX, because it's a Nintendo product with a 30-year track record of success, but doesn't translate to the crypto space..

Everyone will start with 0 Illuvials and you find them by playing the game.
Once you battle the Illuvials and capture them in game, they are minted to your wallet 🙂

Correct, free to play will have access to all of the regions, but only containing Tier 0 Illuvials. You can still build full teams and gain access to all of the classes/affinities with Tier 0 Illuvials too.

But if you want access to Tier 1+ Illuvials, you will want to level up the Tier 0 illuvials and then pay the travel fees for access to Tier 1+ as well as fees to cure the shards to capture them 🙂

If you are swapping on DEXs such as SushiSwap or Uniswap, then you will be paying gas fees, for sure.

The prices of the gas fees will be higher when more people are processing transactions on the ETH network and yeahhh, they're going to be more expensive than "standard" fees on CEXs such as Binance, KuCoin, etc.

The transaction fees aren't the expensive part, it's gas. That's going to be a problem with any Eth network swap. SushiSwap for ILV, UniSwap for sILV. If you are buying ILV, better to do it via a CEX if you can (Binance, KuCoin, Crypto.com, Gate.io)
