This is also unconfirmed. But comments from interviews have it pegged around 30-50 USD per gameplay loop of: mining shards > curing shards > travelling to zone > capturing Illuvials.

This will scale according to what tier zone you want to go into and a bunch of other factors like cost of curing shards etc. but that is an estimate.

ILV will not be used for in-game purchases it is a governance token that gets revenue distribution from 'fees' paid for in-game purchases if you stake it (plus also voting power for council).

So if at that point 1 ETH is worth 5 ILV, I double my purchasing power by getting 10 sILV because sILV price = ILV price.

So effectively my purchasing power for Illuvium sales doubles by buying sILV with my ETH rather than just using ETH.

Not necessarily - there will be ways to earn in game such as by selling captured Illuvials, ranking high on the ranked leader boards, selling collected materials, and maybe being in the leader board for other minigames. This is by no means exhaustive or 100% confirmed. But there is not going to be a mechanism that rewards you with a token every time you win a match like in Axie.

Depends on the way you want to play the game. If you are predominantly going out and capturing Illuvials, it will be based on more time investment than skill (but some skill will definitely be needed to beat the AI plus navigating the zones).

If you are predominantly going to play for the ranked PvP rewards, skill is everything because you don't need the top tier Illuvials - they get standardised.

If you're a whale and want to beat others in the Leviathan arena, time, money and skill will be required.

When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:

• You acquire either some ILV or some Sushi LP tokens
• You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
• You enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired
• You decide whether to lock your deposit or not (if locked, you will receive more rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution, but you cannot withdraw your deposit until the chosen locking period is over)
• After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it) you confirm the staking of the desired tokens

When i first saw the gameplay i was sure it was very similar to all the auto battling mobile games. But the more i read i understand is more similar to TFT or other auto chess games, where you actually make adjustments in different rounds during the game.

Waves are typically a way to increase difficulty in a variety of game environments. You typically start on Wave 1 (easy) and progress to Wave X (hardest). Sometimes wave based systems scale indefinitely so you can really test your mettle.

But a wave could consist of an AI building up to X units starting from 1 and your build would change what he would place which in turn would change what you place.
He places, you place, he places, you place; reset

But if he says they are endless then this isnt right... lol

I honestly have loved Arcane.

I was so pumped when the rewrote all the lore. That happened about 7 years ago and a lot of people got angry because it changed a lot about characters. But overall by having a cohesive story it allows the world to flourish.

I don't like everything about Riot (I'm sure they don't either) but there are things they do very well. As with everything we will try to take the good from as many areas we can.

The Land Sale is the largest web app we have built so far. It includes an interactive overview map of Illuvium where players can zoom in to pick
the plots they want to buy. Eventually we may even link up the real time data from Illuvium Zero so that when you go the ‘Land’ section of the
IlluviDEX you can see what has been built on a particular plot. This is a stretch goal and more likely to happen during the public beta. As above,
mainly marketplace features remain to be built.
