Providing liquidity for ILV is done via an ILV/ETH Pool on SushiSwap and requires a few different steps compared to staking only ILV. These steps are the following:

• You acquire a 50/50 ratio of both ILV and ETH (in $)
• You go to: https://app.sushi.com/add/ETH/0x767FE9EDC9E0dF98E07454847909b5E959D7ca0E
• After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it), you stake your 50/50 ratio of ETH and ILV in the pool
• You receive SLP tokens (To see them, add the SLP contract address to your wallet: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda)
• You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
• You can now stake your SLP Tokens in the Sushi LP pool just like ILV is staked in the ILV pool.

I was like " Bangerang! IT keeps getting big!" Facts. THe main problem was that D3 was not even made by the same people that worked on D1 and D2. I have never done that before or since. ONyl because I thought it was be better than D2 but still similar did I have hope. While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.

In Illuvium there will be several options to P2E:

• sell captured Illuvials
• sell farmed materials
• sell crafted items
• play the marketplace (buy low, sell high)
• wager on battles in the Leviathan Arena
• earn some of the 1 Million ILV set aside for in-game rewards
• …

BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy, a bit of money needs to be invested. A full cycle of travelling, curing shards, etc. is currently estimated to be around $50 (this can still change).

Collectible Illuvium NFTs are already available on Opensea https://opensea.io/assets/illuvium All are limited edition. The emotes and m0z4rt skin NFT's are redeemable in game. Upon use, these NFT's will be burnt when applied in game. This is only true for these emotes, skins, and badges as they were bonuses for the initial ILV token sale.

I think as NFTs move off-chain (ex to layer 2 solutions), and other dapps move to layer 2's, gas prices will decrease. Shard chains (part of ETH 2.0) will also increase network capacity, and should reduce overall gas fees.
