Yup, I even watched some of his other videos, and he actually does research on other gaming projects. He just hates crypto games and seems to think they are all shit, so he just doesn't do research on them. He paints them all broadly as get rich quick schemes, and he's right in 95% of cases, he just wasn't right about Illuvium.

Basically, yeah. The encounter rates for holo/dark holo are not confirmed yet, but Aaron mentioned when asked about holos that a Charizard was something like 1/10000 in Pokemon TCG, so something on that order of rarity would seem likely.

Might be unpopular opinion, but channels like kira tv does make good point, we can miss some good point because we all believe in Illiuvium to much to see flaw. To gain generic popularity game must be appealing without cinematics and crypto aspects. What I learn from trailers is that better trailer is , the harder is for product to pull off. Clean gameplay video would increase trust in project significantly. Gaming industry itself is cruel and judge everything they can because of competition. Game is not crypto and it will not go to the moon without countless bug fixes and feedback consideration.

If those gameplay aspects were visible to someone who has never heard of Illuvium prior, skeptics would have a lot less to base their claims on. I don't understand the point of making Kira a meme for being skeptical of the trailer. He doesn't doubt that there is gameplay, however, the trailer does not actually show you how you arrive at the battle. Showing the actual placement and briefly showing HUD is something he and others would expect from a gameplay trailer. I love the art and work that has gone into this project, but the trailers job is to show all of that to people who haven't seen Illuvium before.

If I look at the trailer for TFT, I see the placement of units. I see the hud and actual gameplay mechanic (using gold to buy, accumulating gold.) I see the important aspects of the game in a concise manner. As much as I love the trailer, none of those checkboxes are hit for looking at what the actual game is. I see there is a game, however I don't see how it works. The trailer should show that to everyone, including anyone who has not entered the discord. It's not a matter of Kira not doing his own research.

Seperate game, IL:Z is a mobile mini-game in the base builder genre. It interacts with the main game via Fuel/Blueprints. It was originally intended to be launched before the main game to test revdis and systems, but will now be fully active when the main game launches (i.e. will be producing Fuel/Blueprints)

For the main game, you'll have a character, and your primary focus will be on exploring and capturing Illuvials via Autobattler combat.

Once you've built a team of Illuvials, there will be competitive ranked pvp etc.

I wouln't say huge - Land produces Fuel, which is used for a variety of things in the main game, but Fuel will be pretty seamless to purchase for a non-land owner, so you won't be like, underpowered or anything. It was my first experience with NFT gaming. Before that I had only mined. I actually just about broke even but it was a struggle!! Then cashed out half and put most of what was left into Illuvium… where it has doubled in ILV value and also in $/ILV so I’m loving Illuvium so far. Not to mention the game just looks like fun as opposed to Axie which was grinding for spare change at the point I got in. It crashed about a week after I finally got my farm up and running.

A question I regularly get asked by DAO members is what will the custodial procedures be regarding assets (in this case lands). A custodial system like GALA or a crypto exchange has its own downsides but at least it allows for 2FA and so on. However, as of now I cannot see any such option on Immutable X as it is non custodial. Will Illuvium have a native wallet that will allow for multi-sigs? And if not is it suggested we just go the route of making the primary metamask account multi-sig?

Mcap is only around 800m this is EASILY a company valued over 1b as of right now in my opinion. Once its closer to launch I wouldn't think twice if the mcap is closer to 5b thats only a few months away.

Agreed 100% this game so far checks off all the boxes and I would even think that 5b mcap is a low evaluation considering peak bull run and where axie currently is. Axie has the userbase but this game will crush it if they dont have any huge setbacks. Plus going from 800m to 1b mcap is not much of a difference in crypto space when I'm considering a buy zone.

Each Illuvial has its own bonding curve, so they will be harder to catch over time. After a couple of months (maybe 6 ?), they will release a new set of illuvials.

The amount of free quality we get because of the system Grant invented is insane. When that gets combined with Nanite and Lumin in UE5 next year, it's going to blow your socks off.

The two gameplay sections are the battles and the overworld. The battles are done with our cinematic render engine which the player will have access to. Basically it saves your battle and renders it out in high quality. If you want to see raw screen capture check out character leaks. We did the same battles so you can see the different in quality. (not much)

The Overworld is just raw screen capture. We DO have a UI. It's just not quite where we want it to be yet. But it is functional.

Its not a mobile game, for now. Controller support has not been done and is not being prioritised until we know that we can get it onto consoles.

Min spec is not determined yet. We will push it as far as it can go and then let you know. Private Beta participants will have to have higher level cards than the final game, just because optimising takes time.
