Yes. Pokeball = Shards. There are multiple tiers of shards so think poke ball great ball master ball. You mine the shards in the over world or you can buy in the marketplace with ETH/sILV. It is playable for free to an extent. T0 is the F2P area. P2E youll need to pay for the travel cost and have better tier shards to successfully capture the higher illuvials.

You wont lose your shard if you fail to capture the illuvial. The price of the shards are not set in stone but some are speculating it can range from 10-40usd depending on the tier. Dont quote me though. What we do know is that the average cost of a cycle (shards+travel fee) is around 50usd. Thats what the team is targetting.

Thank you for the support 🙂 Right now, you cannot migrate any tokens from one wallet to another if they are staked unless you withdraw them, transfer and re-stake. This could be possible with v2 staking though (which still needs a final proposal to and approval by the council). When it comes to protecting your assets before even running into any issues, you can already now use hardware wallets for that. I personally have my tokens on a Ledger and I use a connection through MetaMask to then handle any transactions. This way, my assets are safely secured on the hardware wallet 🙂

This is awesome safety opinion. I do the same thing a Hardware wallet ( i use Ledger as well) is a very worthwhile investment but i would add DO NOT buy form a third party ANY third party!! The trailer looks amazing . Personally i know not everyone can afford a high end PC but the game looks amazing in the trailer I hope it looks the same or better on my pc . The one thing I have noticed happening with AAA games and there has been controversy over it is "downgrading" graphic before release to cast a bigger net ( or so they can port to consoles) which is very frustrating for those who want a better graphical experience. I am hoping that this game will actually at least have the option of taking advantage of the resources of a high end machine . Gaming Devs in general need to start trying to progress in maxing out current tech . I have no idea about actual process of game development Perhaps release a Ultimate Graphics version or and "optimized" version I just know devs in general are staying middle of the road to appeal to the most people

• You acquire a 50/50 ratio of both ILV and ETH (in $)

• After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it), you stake your 50/50 ratio of ETH and ILV in the pool

ILV tokens are about governance and like a stock, you get some of the revenue the game generates if you stake the token.

In game, you catch the Illuvials (like a Pokémon), but you actually own that monster and can sell it in a NFT marketplace (gasless on ImmutableX).

Game makes money by charging for in game services in the premium areas (start areas are F2P) and a fee when an NFT item/monster is sold/bought on the marketplace.

BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy, a bit of money needs to be invested. A full cycle of travelling, curing shards, etc. is currently estimated to be around $50 (this can still change).

In game, it can be used to pay for any fee (excluding IlluviDEX trades and Leviathan Arena wagers) that otherwise would be paid for with the main currency ETH. While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used in-game and does not provide compounding in any form.

Wait 3-6 months while people grind the game out and start selling the strong Illuvials then you would buy those Illuvials from the market place and use them to wager bets or enter tournaments in the leviathan arena.
