BUT, while the game will be free to play, in order to participate in the earning part of the economy, a bit of money needs to be invested. A full cycle of travelling, curing shards, etc. is currently estimated to be around $50 (this can still change).

I believe Binance's wallet supports ERC-20 tokens, just be mindful that you're sending your ILV to the Ethereum address of the wallet. If you try and use the BSC or BNB address, your ILV will go missing into the void.

I'm not an expert on Binance, but I briefly owned some ERC20 ETH there due to a chain of terrible mistakes I made. So it's definitely possible.

• If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
• New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.

IF it goes WAY up before march it should be interesting to see how high we can hit while being so low in circulating supply. They do start to unlock in March.

The thing though about comparing it with say AXS is 23% of their tokens are in circulating supply, where as only 6% or so of ours is in circulating supply. So if you truly want to compare them I guess you should multiply our marketcap by 4 just to get to the same % of circulating supply. Which if we kept our price obviously it would make the marketcap 2bil+. Still have a 4x to go to tie with axs. Ignoring the fact that this game will be way better of course.

ETH will be used on the marketplace to trade with players. Also, travel can also be paid with in ETH. It's an ETH based game balanced around USD to avoid the game getting more expensive. However, sILV is a reward that stakers can claim to essentially be able to use their staking rewards to pay travel and shard fees.

For the very few people I know of that have 1000s to claim, there are specific things they intend to do with them. Strategies vary, however yeah there isn't much reason to hold 1000s of sILV. Although you'll easily be able to dump 100k worth of travel fees and curing fees into the game if you really wanted to. The game doesn't have a hard limit like AXS does, although it does have a limit on how much you can do per travel, energy resets per region traveled to, not per day.
