The tokenomics of this DAO include a 100% revenue distribution (could be subject to change - DAO governance). This means that any kind of revenue generated through sales or in-game revenue is distributed back to holders of staked ILV. The same max supply of 10 Million ILV will be used for this purpose regardless of how many games the DAO develops.

Revenue distribution is paid out in the form of unlocked ILV and the payout is done multiple times a week without a fixed schedule. Before paying out revenue distribution, the vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by buying it off the market which puts buying pressure on the ILV token and thus supports its price development.

When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:

• You acquire either some ILV or some Sushi LP tokens
• You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
• You enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired
• You decide whether to lock your deposit or not (if locked, you will receive more rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution, but you cannot withdraw your deposit until the chosen locking period is over)
• After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it) you confirm the staking of the desired tokens

I know. But you have to port your eth to immutable X. So people not in crypto would need to: 1. Find an exchange for FIAT currency to eth (exhange fees). Do KYC. Find a wallet. Yes to be in crypto ofc you need a wallet and therefore you need ETH in it and you can only get it either through CEXs or third parties working with Wallet. But that will no stop ppl from joining or be a deterrent. One example: look at Axie and how much ppl keep spending there. This is a blockchain game and ppl joining it will already know what the requirements are. So, no worries there 🙂

No worries. We are 160k ppl without a game yet. It's pretty possible we get to +500k by launch. Now each person spending only $50 per month, it would mean $25m. And we know that it's way more than that. I assure you I myself will be spending way more than that a day 😄

I know - I have loaded up to spend way too much as well, and have too much tied up in staking also. 😅 it’s just that when you hear you have to spend ETH my vision of million of players and huge tournaments might take a while, since it requires a lot of research, and the free to play version seem very limited - hope it will be enough to hook people and their interest. I do agree that it will probably be a major success for all gamers already in crypto.

It's not that big of a deal. If they can make money on a game and have fun on it... It's like adding 10 bucks to the cost of a game, that's about it. If the game is fun it won't be an issue, if there's potential to make serious amounts of money...it matters even less.

I like the whole game idea but was more interested in the immersive roaming finding and capturing Illuvials part which has been said would take about $50 per travel. After calculating in gas fees if i am unable to make the majority of that money back easily its kind of expensive for 1 hour of roaming time.

But we will have to see how it all works out.

it's not 50 for JUST travel. That's including capturing something. Also, you wouldn't realistically put in just enough to do 1 run. More than likely. I mean everyone starts off playing for free right? So you could also make money that way. It's just meant to where you have to put in money to take money out of the system if you choose to. Free market is interesting, I'm sure there will be people who make a good amount of money on it. If nothing else, you could look at it like axie. For like 5k you could definitely get a really solid PvP team I would imagine.

No advantages in game as everyone will start with 0 Illuvials. But some of the items on OpenSea can be used in game just for cosmetic purposes.

There is a liquidity pool on uniswap that somebody made. Take the token address from the pins in staking and put that into uniswap. Its trading at around $300 last time i checked.

I think that was from the Uniswap v2 pool, whoever made it migrated all the liquidity to v3 and when uniswap cleared out the dust left in the old pool it made some weird transactions.
