SLP is best for staking if you want to stack ILV tokens as yield reward.
Look to put in about $3500 for 1 SLP.

ILV is for long term revenue distribution from the income the game brings in. Expected about $100 per ILV staked, per month, per million players. Should bring in Revenue Distribution (revdis) for many years to come.
How many you buy is a personal choice, different for different people.

sILV if you want to buy land (which is an entirely separate game from the main game). You can currently pick up at uniswap for about half the value of ILV. For buying land/fuel each sILV will have 1:1 value to ILV, thus giving you twice the buying power of straight ETH.
Since land has no actual realistic expected value, it is again a personal choice as to how many you might want to buy.

Nice! Yeah, after I heard about you essentially entering a match with a greater control point pool than you can field, and then a match being multiple battles to decide a victor, the correlation to a Magic Deck to me was very immediate.

Have a core part of your "Deck" have a proactive strategy, and know how to spend your flex spots in your "Deck" to pivot, press an advantage, or deal with natural counters - Just like a sideboard is used in MTG

Yes alot of it is the hype but if you know crypto at all then you know you need to DYR. My own research has given me confidence that i will play this game and (unlike other games i spend money on) i wont have that feeling of dread that comes from spending and knowing i just burnt money. But thats just me.

Governance:
Together, we have the power to shape the future of Illuvium through our community collaboration on game improvement proposals as well as electing the initial model of governance, the Illuvinati Council.

Liquidity Mining:
Here, you will gain more ILV (or sILV). Additional ILV will increase your voting power in governance & increase your share of vault distributions.

Vault Distributions:
When you stake ILV, you share in Illuvium's success and earn a passive income of additional ILV, funded through in-game purchases and fees. Vault distributions will only be available from sales and once the game and Illuvidex are launched.

A couple hundred should be plenty for you to get a decent team. To get to the higher level stuff you might have to grind a bit and earn your way up. It will likely to be cheaper to capture your own Illuvials than buy them from other players.

If you can play it smart, don't mind selling rare assets and/or farming+curing shards or other materials and selling them early, I expect you should be able to make a tidy little profit in the first few weeks.

Basically when you claim the rewards if you claim ILV, while that ILV is vested, it gives you additional income, because it's staked into the ILV core pool. This way your gains compound!
