I’d start by making projects and completing them. If you want to do game dev you could have a basic idea of what you want to do then just start. Try to figure out the problems on your own and look up YouTube or stack overflow if you get stuck or just don’t know what to do.

Hi all this is the second time I have faced this issue. I thought that it was my mistake initially but it's something else. I have 2 pools that I am staked in: LP and locked ilv. I have tried claim my LP pool rewards but twice it has redeemed the other locked ilv pool rewards. This is wasting gas fee

when you claim from SLP pool, it will create 2 transactions, the first for the single pool and the 2nd for the SLP pool

Gen 1 Illuvials are at a fixed amount and disappear once they are all caught. To “evolve” your Illuvial you need to burn three of the same Illuvial, thus burning the nft. This reduces the total amount of that gen 1 Illuvial. So by gen 10 you can imagine that a gen 1 tier 1 Illuvial will be scarce as most will have been burnt to make gen 1 tier 2s and 3s…at least that is what I understand on how it works..

1st gen Illuvials may very well end up being rare and expensive, moreso than future generations. That doesn't mean those future generations will be worthless - if they are used to play the game competitively, there is demand for them.

It won't (or shouldn't) be a hard fixed amount, because this won't scale to increasing playerbase. It's more likely there's a bonding curve that gets set up so that, strictly as an example, a T5 Illuvial has an 80% capture chance when the game releases. As they get captured, each capture decreases the catch chance by .01% (or some other arbitrary amount). Over time, captures get rarer and rarer.

If the playerbase explodes, you can introduce new supply (i.e. there's still more to catch) without affecting the CHANCES of a capture. When some number are captured, you keep moving down the bonding curve and Illuvials continue getting rarer to capture.

They will probably get stronger over time, as new generations demand advantages over old generations (otherwise why both releasing them), but Gen 1 will almost certainly be the rarest generation, simply because the playerbase will be smaller, so there will be less in circulation.

I also highly suggest to search for Aaron | Illuvium and JohnnyA | Illuvium in that channel since a lot of additional info (partially different from the initial GDDs) has been provided by them by now. Prices are all purely speculative right now, considering it is going to be a Dutch Auction (veeery high prices that go down with time until someone buys) and so is the return of land as well.
