I'll try to explain. With distributions from the vault, we first check how many tokens are in each of the pools and we split the revenue based on that. (This is what we mean when we say that the pool weight doesn't matter)

Then INSIDE each pool we look at the token weight and distribute the revenue accordingly. But EVERYONE in the seed / team pool is in the exact same situation so it doesn't matter what the token weight is. You could have a token weight of 9000 each, and it wouldn't matter. The formula that describes this makes it very obvious why that is the case.

So the answer is that the token weight is only relevant in a pool where the token weight can be different between batches. Since the team / seed cannot be so, it is irrelevant.

An interesting side effect of this is that it means that the average weight of the seed / team is exactly 2, but that doesn't have any impact at all. So the batches in the other two pools get a slight bonus in comparison, based on the difference between 2.0 and the average batch weight of the pool.

Hopefully that all makes sense.

Impossible to estimate, sorry. There are collections that go up 10x within a day, and others that drop as easily again. I'm not gonna even try to speculate here. All I am convinced of myself is that Illuvium overall is going to be a hugely profitable long-term investment. That doesn't necessarily mean all avenues of investing into ILV will be equally profitable. And also, it's just me speculating on a higher level, I obviously cannot guarantee success either. No crystal ball here 🙂

You begin our game with a free-to-play experience that immerses you in our richly-detailed world, lets you enjoy some action, and helps you understand how the game works. The free-to-play experience of the Tier 0 regions will familiarize you with Illuvium, and won’t feel like an “abridged” version of the game. It is a full-fledged gameplay experience! If you like it, you can then decide to opt in to the paid experience, start collecting NFTs from higher tiered regions, and delve into deeper adventures to explore the mysteries of the game where the NFTs you gather start to hold more value as well.

Just after game launch, when everyone starts fresh, you might even be able to sell free Tier 0 NFTs on the IlluviDEX for ETH, but there is no guarantee for that.
