That energy can be used for a variety of actions including scanning, gathering, battle etc. In theory you can even capture more than one Illuvial per travel but using your energy wisely and thus optimizing your spoils per travel will make a huge difference between good and less good players.

A very efficient run is estimated to last an hour, yes. Then your energy would be depleted. Nothing stops you from doing another free Tier 0 run or pay the travel fees for another Tier 1+ run though. You could play 24 hours every day. You just don't get to farm actual monetary valuable stuff 24 hours a day for free. Such an economy cannot survive.

When Energy in Axie Infinity is out, you don't get any SLP from PvE anymore for example. And the energy resets over time. Such a "daily cap" or "self regenerating energy" for rewards does not exist in ILV. If you pay your travel fees for a Tier 1+, you could farm rare and valuable stuff all day. But whether or not you need to put more money in or your first run of the day is so profitable that you can sell stuff for another one and maybe even have more left over, that depends on your luck and skill during that run.

Yes there is. If you would travel, use all your energy for scanning for example and thus not gathering/capturing anything, you might not get anything, I guess. Most likely case for anyone attempting a proper run is probably to get away with some value though. It won't be guaranteed to equal or exceed what you put in though.

I suspect you're thinking about Illuvium as though it's Axie - it's not. The structure is very different. You don't need to use ILV to play the game, at all.

In Axie, AXS and SLP prices determine your ability to breed etc. In Illuvium, ILV has no direct interaction with in-game prices or the experience you'll have.

You will have to spend ETH if you want to access areas outside the starting zone, and those areas are where you can find valuable Illuvials to catch, or resources, or other things to sell on the marketplace or keep and use.

Im not sure if any admins have been following whats been happening with IMX, but they may want to try and advise the devs to stay away from IMX and partner with another layer 2. People have been attempting to withdraw their funds for 20+ days already. Everyone has the same error. No. This is not how I understood Aaron so far. Fuel - if the mini game is approved - will be something that is used within many actions, possibly included in travelling, curing and whatnot. Energy (if that's the actual name for it at release) is a "currency/value" to pay for actions during a travel like scanning, battling, gathering. I don't think fuel is meant to be tied into that as well.

my honest answer? Likely about 100k or so. Maybe a bit more. theoretically, there isn't much of a cap. The reason is, if you're running zones for a very particular illuvial, or reagents, then flipping zones even 5x or 10x an hour may be a tactic. So, that's a possible 2500 a day
