Closed Beta is a private beta. It's primarily aimed at letting us get the game right, playtesting, feedback. It's not intended to be a 'reward' or be something we use to market. That's the sort of thing the Open beta is better suited for.

the difference is, if you make 10$ per run profit (that's more than sustainable) and if you optimize your run times...you would be surprised at how much you could earn, not even winning a lottery ticket. Thousands a month seems easy enough if you make 10$ profit per run, and do multiple runs per day, even if it's only 5...that's still 50$ a day. And I don't think that's anywhere near what some are going to be capable of.

From my understanding the NFTs have no in game value, but *Badges can be burned in game to give your character the corresponding *badge that was burned. Likewise, *Emote's can also be burned so you can utilize that emoji in game. They will have no direct benefit to gameplay, rather they prove you we're an early adopter and have these exclusive status symbols that 1 / 1,000 players will have (Assuming Illuvium has 5.5M players / 5,500 IDO NFTs = 1 / 1,000 players) will have access to these NFTs. **Napkin math as the guys say.

But as we see in a lot of these original projects, status has value. I recently pulled down my listings and think ill hold off a little longer and see how price discovery on these NFTs plays out 🔥

**5.5M players is a lot, but not unreasonable. WOW STILL has over 2.5M players / day, COD had over 20M downloads in 2020 , Fortnite 350M people registered as of 2021, the market is massive. I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches 10x that and Illivium reaches 55M players. Given the ratio of IDO NFTs to players that's 1 / 10,000 players has one. Maybe my ball park numbers are off so please correct me if I'm wrong, seems like a asymmetric bet if the game fulfills what its aiming for though.

Tier 1+ cost a fee. When roaming a region you might run into an encounter. If you defeat that encounter you can use a cured shard and try to capture that Illuvial. If you succeed it gets stored in your shard. If it doesn't succeed (there is a chance factor which also takes Illuvial vs Shard Tier into account) the illuvial escapes.

Dark Holo is even more rare than a Holo. When fusing you can fuse 3 holos for a dark holo. You can also use 1 or 2 holos only with two regular then you got a 1/3 or 2/3 chance a dark holo comes out of it.

You misunderstand energy. There is no daily limit. You pay for a travel, you have a limited amount of energy for that travel, you use it when doing actions. You could stay there "forever" if you wanted to. Just like you could travel and farm 24/7 if you have the funds to pay for a new travel every time the one prior to it is over.

The payment part does not apply to Tier 0 btw. Travelling to Tier 0 regions is free.

The dawnlight badges are purely cosmetic. If you redeem them in game, you'll have that badge symbol displayed next your name/account somewhere.
There was speculation that badges could allow the owner to be "whitelisted" for the land sale but this not happening
