There's a "fusing" mechanic which is like the "evolving" mechanic of Pokemon.
3 Stage 1 illuvials fused will result in the Stage 2 of that Illuvial.

What is more realistically going to happen is generation 1 will all be the same. Then if we ever bring a new generation in, there would be skin/texture updates to distinguish between gen 1 and 2.

Market cap is the total value of a project, calculated by multiplying token price and circulating supply. While claimed staking rewards in the form of ILV are locked for 12 months, sILV offers the opportunity to liquidate your staking rewards immediately. The tradeoff for that is that sILV only can be used ingame and does not provide compounding in any form.

Oh I can tell you what a lot of people say. "It's obviously a scam" "Pyramid scheme" etc. As far as people go, there are a couple different types. Some that ape in to every new idea they believe in right at the start.
