But right now due to our liquidity mainly being on sushi as ETH/ILV any drop in ETH as a direct consequence also lowers USD price of ILV. In order for any liquidity structure to work ILV has to be paired with another asset otherwise it goes against the basic principle of it.
Think of it like bartering

If we both only have pieces of cloth (AKA ILV) we can't do a trade. That's why single asset liquidity doesn't exist
