You will get some airdrop points for completing daily quests on the free land plot. Not as much as if you owned an nft land, but you still get points. You can grind supreme gear in T0 area and sell it for real money to players who don't wanna grind that. You can also catch holo/dark holo/high stat T0 illuvials and sell those. If you put in the work, it is possible to grind yourself up to the paid regions and progress.

You could make money through the airdrop in the testnet version. On the 25th the open beta will launch in mainnet. There you can earn through:

• Airdrops and other promotions
• Collecting Illuvials and other items in Overworld and selling them to other players
• Buying land and making Fuel (or discovering Blueprints and selling)
• Prizes for Arena tournaments
• Beyond Leaderboard
• Probably other ways that I'm not thinking of.

However this question is best addresses to someone on the team. My role is as technical advisor to the founders, I'm no longer involved in the day-to-day operations (at least not unless something goes seriously wrong 😉 ).

Ok it's like this....IMX passport is a custodial wallet and as such it is centralized because you don't have the keys to it. This was implemented to help on board non crypto people so that they can just sign up with email and start playing. Now for the good old crypto people you can keep all your assets in your custodial wallet (I use MM with ledger) link it to IMX passport and have full costudy of all your ILV assets

also if you stake now, you will have choice how much time from 1 month to 12 months, the more time you stake, the more weight you tokens will have in revdis. but when you stake you lock them for this time, cant do anything with them

in my case, i have some which i staked for 12 months, this period passed, so they have this x2 max multi on them, but i can take them when i want, its a bonus to me. you will be in another situation, if stake for 12 months, they will be locked for you for this period.
