All the fuel etc (and all other game assets that can be traded) will be working on the blockchain after open beta starts. According to recent announcements, that will be shortly after open beta testnet commences. (which starts on May 28th)

Claiming Rewards

When you stake ILV in yield farming, rewards will start accumulating for you. However, you'll need to manually claim these rewards and pay for the GAS fees of these transactions.

You can choose to claim the rewards whenever the pile is big enough to justify the gas fees. If you claim sILV2, it will be unlocked right away and can be used in-game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena. If you claim ILV, that batch of ILV will be locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effects. And the process starts over again with new rewards accumulating.

Please note that ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution must also be claimed, but they are not subject to a locking period.

Also, is there information on when the cliff is for all the VC money that has come in on the last raise and how many tokens and for what price? I'd be really interested to hear what the point on the safety pool was if while all that BS was going on there was more then likely concurrently talks happening about this current raise.

In short what I took away.

Kieran illustrated that now with 24 months runway, even if the current suite of games doesnt generate enough revenue, theres plenty of runway to develop a new game in 10-15 months. He also expects us to generate enough revenue and the raise is a fail safe.

Sweet, so in 2 months we'll have something like 400-500k tokens becoming liquid to grind the price down for 3 months and then in 12 months there's like another 250k to really drop the price come the end of the bull market and there's no rewards for liquidity providing therefore super low liquidity in the dex... what could go wrong 🫤
Seems like there's been an astnomically long time taken to test and launch the game so I don't see how there's runway for a second game unless the time to deliver is cut in half. I suspect the safe option that's been taken might end up putting the price into Shiba territory if the game doesn't start raking in tens or hundreds of millions of revenue to offset all the VC and liquidity unlocks. Fun times!!

Do you know how VC money works? They invest to make money to return capital and profit to their investors. They have to take profit to return capital. They aren't long term holders. The funds have a life time on them. Some how I don't think they'll be going on a hope and a prayer to see if everything works out. That's not how it works when your using other people's money.

First of all, its a failsafe if the launch doesnt go as smooth as planned - it wouldnt be smart to bet the company survival on a successful launch. Secondly, a large chunk of revdis will be swallowed by silv2 in the first months which can make revdis negligible. My personal opinion is that revdis will start building over time once we get more traction but it can take a while.
