I have a few questions about the burn report that just dropped. When we ask Kieran or Tarren how much is spent monthly in marketing they reply: less than 5k/month.

Ok fair enough, depending on how that money was spent, it is possible for one to miss the said campaign or investments.

But burn reports keep indicating 80k or in this case 96k spent on Marketing. So my question goes to the <@&1107754344499122206> ... Where does that money go?

Because 96k spent in marketing within a single month is quite big for a company of our size with no game to advertise yet and not aiming for a "big boom effect". Yet we should be able to see the direct benefits of those 96k but they're nowhere to be found.

There either are costs that the team is considering marketing that don't belong to Marketing imo (like Marketing team salaries, that should just be in the CC line) or there's something wrong with the burn report.

It is hard to say how many tme or how long. I started as a programmer creating ultima online servers

Then I studied networks, worked as it support, custommer support, it manager, director, senior software engineer.

In the end what really matters is how you are able to navigate all the nuances of the area

I was a "director" (for a small 70 workers, 20 computers) textile factory, integrating machines like lectra at 21, only 4 years in the work. Only for becoming a senior software engineer ( which is somewhat a lesser position job ) later on, by having a huge ton of experience on how a use rwould behave using anything I create.

So time don't really matters. You usually gets good by navigating all that is possible

plus getting a good sense of curiosity. It is all about always asking why. Having that "support" mentality, even when you become the badass, you should know jnothing or close to that.

In IT to be honest, IMO there is no such thing as experts. It swifts everytime and is not an exact ciency. Take blockchain, has 15 years and is still a baby in industry

I call myself "Javascript / React Specialist", given that I bring more than 11 years on Javaascript and 6 + on React. But I can only do anything a mid level would do, not faster, not smarter. Only more elegant, even slower, because I know what will break in the future so I take the double of time to wrote something more "safe", "tested", "quality assured" than a mid level would wrote
