The first version of Illuvium was to be a 2d top-down old-school Pokemon style. But the second biggest issue has been finding good devs. The ones we have are great, but most hear "NFT" and run for the hills. It's tough when 99% of backed projects were scams. It is definitely hard to be one of the good guys. There's no reason for a dev that hasn't followed us to suddenly trust what we are doing.

Hey, Have asked myself about the Ideas section, I don't feel that the way we use this section is worth for the dev / DAO. As community member, we just don't know anything about what's behind, what's planned, and we give Idea input about things to change / Add when we don't know what is being build.
As Aaron said a lot, we discuss and want to give idea to change / build something that we didn't could even try yet.

Why the idea section is not managed from CC Side ?. To give a scope to the community where they actually need... to discuss about a subject and the team. for exemple :
How we plan to integrate F2P : "x", what's the community feedback, ideas around it. Like this, we know what the team need as ressources and idea from the community, and it's more an exchange that is worth for the team. and we don't imagine things that is not in the scope.

I feel that's useless to build an idea when i don't know anything about what's planned further. so the only idea that we can bring up is for actual product, and will just slow down what the team plan to deliver at first.

If we take the accountability exemple : the community could ask the creation of the idea around it from the team, "Team planned this for more transparency" : they ask to the community if that's fine this way, if they have idea that can be add. like a constructive way to ask feedback.
I don't like thoses Open Idea when the dev is in the hand of the team.. they are the professionals in this sector, can we let them build at first what they planned ?.

I don't like the idea of taking out ideas in its current state but a CC lead ideas chat where we might be given questions like "what do we do here?" or "how should we do this?" would be really cool and actually productive. It could be as broad or specific as need be. Yeah, #1020759212172775464 was a method to organise ideas, I think its obvious its gotten a little out of hand. The original idea was to make it not available for public posting but we felt community would feel it was gated if we had to post their ideas for them. Plus the matter of actually taking each idea that comes and asking a CC if this is possible or good or no its not possible etc everytime an Idea comes up. Logistically it might look better in discord but I think more of an issue to execute. As for a separate channel for CC ideas maybe not a bad idea, somewhere we can gauge community sentiment about development ideas, marketing ideas, etc.
