You may be able to use your mobile Metamask for the sale but it needs a bit of a work around. @solar oyster did an excellent YT video showing how to do it.
That said if you can purchase on PC purchase on PC just to be sure it works and you don't miss out.

There have been reports of this error/issue popping up with others who are trying to use names without any bad words too... I'm not entirely sure what the system thinks is bad in these words but I believe the team is looking into solutions for that. It's likely not high on the priority list at the moment though with the Beyond launch about to happen.

The alphas are limited. The regular D1sks are unlimited supply but limited for 3 months. But the Illuvitars from tier 1 to 5are only available in the wave 1 and not be able to mint these again ever.

Trying to catchup and read through all of the information for Illuvium Beyond... it calls it a collectible card GAME... but I don't see any information about an actual game, it just looks like a PFP collection with challenges to try to motivate you to collect them all, and all the power does is make your collection arbitrarily more 'collectible' than other peoples. There were mentions of possibly having cosmetics in Overworld but I don't think they would be cosmetics used on Illuvials themselves.

Illuvitars are configurable avatars used as profile pictures in the Illuvium universe.

An Illuvitar consists of a Portrait and Accessories with near-infinite possibilities.

Once purchased, players can connect their accounts and wallets to use the Illuvitar across all Illuvium games. Illuvitars represent the perfect mix of randomness and rarity via Accessories that are “bonded” to a base Portrait.
