I apologize for tagging you here like this, but thank you for your understanding. I am also sorry for my English level, as I am not bilingual.

I am deeply disappointed about what happened to TSG and I was wondering if it would be possible to add extra security to our digital assets, especially our lands. My idea is to add a code when purchasing our lands which will be sent to the buyer's email box. When there is a sale, it will be required to validate the code and the new buyer will have to update it. So, if our lands are stolen from our wallet, it will be impossible for the thief to resell them for their own profit.

Do you think that this idea is feasible and that it could add liquidity to the Illuvium company? I am willing to pay $10 more for more security rather than take the risk of having my land stolen and seeing the thief make a profit from it.

That is a bit of a tricky one. Currently ILV goes for 0.0577 Eth each. Since sILV2 has the same in-game buying power as the ILV market value, this means that it can be used to buy 0.0577 Eth in value in-game.

So currently you would need 0.075/0.0577=1.3 sILV2 to buy a megadisk.

The illuvitars are not out for another 4 weeks though, so this value may fluctuate wildly 🙂

I think you can recover your wallet in a hardware wallet, but beats the purpose of a HW wallet if they can find traces as it was previously a SW wallet

If you uninstall your metamask and then use that seed and put it into your ledger then you can essentially transfer your metamask to a hardware wallet

but if your metamask seed is lying around anywhere you are still at risk

your best bet is to make a fresh wallet on a ledger for full security. However u cannot move locked tokens, not easily and I dont know how
