Hello guys, for months and months I have kept this to myself but today I showed the game to a friend of mine and his first reaction when seeing all the illuvials was "why does the fire dragon look so bad compared to the others"? So today I am asking you all, why are rhamphyre wings so straight and fake looking as if they were just a piece of glowing mesh plane pieces straped onto his body? It's important for me to say that I absolutely LOVE all the work and aesthetics that all the team is doing on this game and that is why I have never even asked anything about Rhamphyre but god, am I missing somehting here? There must be a reason as to why he is the way he is? At first I thought I was being too dramatic but when my friend said that and I asked him why he said exactly what had been on my mind all this time.

Again, I'm not trying to be rude I just need to know please, I never understood it.

You could move ILV tokens over to Arbitrum or Optimism, but the staking infrastructure doesn't exist there.

You absolutely don't need to own land to engage with paid travel cycles. You do require Fuel for paid travel cycles. You can get Fuel by producing your own (via a plot of land) or by buying it from a balancer pool (which is available to everyone, and limits the price variation of Fuel).

Stage 0 is free, and within Stage 0 you can capture Tier 0 Illuvials, you can mine and harvest T0 ore deposits and plants.

Stage 1, 2 and 3 cost Crypton to travel to. Crypton is one of 3 types of Fuel.

Illuvium: Zero drives Fuel production in the Illuvium universe. Within Illuvium: Zero, Tier 1 through Tier 5 land produces 3 different Fuel types which can be used in the Illuvium ecosystem.

Hyperion - Hyperion is used to cure shards. Cured shards are required to capture Illuvials.

Land is only needed for Illuvim Zero. You can play Overworld and Arena without land once they are released.

Nothing you need to buy ahead of time. Once the game launches you will be able to buy the game NFTs from other players who earn them ingame if you want to.

No they don't but right now everything is free because it's in private beta. At the current moment how fuel works is they just give you a set amount each day.

You get fuel by swapping ETH for fuel on a balancer pool. There is also a staking reward token (sILV2) that can be used to pay for game fees instead of fuel.

In other words you don't technically even need to play the Overworld if you just want to play the land game or auto battler

They are all interconnecting but if there's something that you need for one game you can just buy it off of another player

There is 'Tier 0' content that can be accessed completely for free. 25 Illuvials and some basic equipment and consumables. The tier 1-5 content requires microtransactions paid with fuel.

Can you play the Tier 0 content as much as you want? And can you earn from T0 content?

You can play as much as you want.

Earning is a hard maybe. You would need to farm the T0 content and then sell it to other players on the Illuvidex but theres no guarantee that there would be any buyers or that the value would be significant.
There also might be some Tier 0 tournaments where you could earn rewards as ILV but that would be pretty skill based to actually place high enough to win something.

As a super simplified example (and not based on real numbers) - Land has a target to produce 5% of Fuel.

If players are using 1M Fuel a day, Land needs to produce approx. 50k Fuel.
If players are using 10M Fuel a day, Land needs to produce approx 500k Fuel.
