If you're buying on IMX (via the Illuvidex), fees are already factored into the prices you see, so there's no fee. The fees if you're trying to buy a plot on L1 ETH will vary depending on gas prices, but I'd be very cautious of doing that - Lots of scam collections exist on L1.

I'm looking at some of the collections on Binance right now and they look super sketchy and not legitimate. The official recommendation is to transfer some ETH into IMX, and buy land using the Illuvidex. I'd personally avoid buying "land" off Binance unless you can absolutely verify it's legitimate.

The process would be something like: Transfer ETH to a non-custodial wallet (like Metamask). Link Metamask with IMX. Bridge ETH to IMX. Buy land on the Illuvidex with ETH.

You'd pay Binance's fees to transfer out of their wallet, then you'd pay a gas fee when you bridge your ETH to IMX. Once you're on IMX, you're gas free.

There's so many things that need to be considered when making a game (especially a game with a lot of player agency) multiplayer. You immediately have to control for negative social experiences like griefing/trolling, balance spawn rates, track mob tags etc. I'm not an expert on this stuff, but it's not trivial making a game feel right when it's multiplayer.

Super cool idea though, and definitely something I'd love to see in the future!

No, sILV2 can not be staked.

Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:

• When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
• You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
• If you claim sILV2 you have it unlocked right away (sILV2 is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
• If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
• New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
