Been backreading on the topic but allow me to throw my 2 cents:

Current problem are two fold for me:
(1) Lack of clear process for which the community can share their ideas and get support in ideating an IIP.

• What we have now is someone drafts it and waits for community to back it up before it can be put into a council vote. Even then theres barely any iterations or improvements. So a badly written IIP might get shot down from inception even if the idea behind it is correct.

(2) IIP drafts and the council voting on it usually dont have the necessary expertise to be able to ideate or even decide on it. Having sub-committees would allow "experts" in certain fields to help IIP drafters in ideating at the same time provide valuable counsel to the council on their respective fields.

Im hoping that gov v2 would be able to address this sufficiently. Using @split lintel's experience before his IIP would be discussed and ideated properly under a sub-committee focused on the finance/economics and his idea would be heard, improved, and revised before being put up to vote via the council or altogether come to the conclusion that it wasnt a good idea (at that time)

Question about what the process for new players to join and play the arena game. Is there going to be a way to play the arena game without going out and catching 30 illuvials?
Maybe a way to rent out an entire deck instead of needing to rent out 30 illuvials? Or is there something else in play?
This would also create a cool new way for people to "play" with the economy of illuvium and provide value to players just wanting to play arena. Creating a good deck can serve a duel purpose, one to play with it, two to rent it out for a higher premium.

It would be difficult to have a game where you can raid digital money from others because then the ROI and investment becomes risky.

My guess is they will create an external environment such as a contested territory where you send troops to, to gain certain items or stuff. But when you do it costs money in the form of military power, transportation fees or external base-building fees.

Very early on they were talking about space warfare. But based on the known lore, there seems to be a barrier around Illuvium (or parts of it). So making ships and flying them out to space and them entering orbit without crashing this time seems weird to me.
So perhaps (if this does not clash with lore) we may see a deeper underground robot battle arena where all kinds of mozart-based bots fight :]
